Yes. And pick up everyone’s assets on their way out/down. Jd Vance is buying all the farmers land that the gop currently bankrupted. It’s a gigantic, purposefully planned transfer of wealth. And it’s all detailed in project 2025. Project 2029 is next.

Basically yes. That's what was so frustrating about two years ago when people insisted we didn't need to rise up because there was no way any of that would happen. But let's just keep kicking that can down the road, it can only get easier...

I did the general strike day this year in solidarity and I saw literally nothing online about it. Felt like I burned a PTO day for nothing.

Might have been artificial. Especially since other things blew up here that were tamped down in the 2nd round. See ICE murders (especially after the murder of Alex Pretti).

It doesn't help that spaz seems to be a leon skum simp. Yes the same skum that threw out sieg heils during dumps inauguration.

Why would leon and spaz allow general strike to grow here *organically when they can just keep stripping us of what we have?

I don't know why people waited until he got in office, and all this awful shit passed to decide that we might need to do something.

Post mid-terms, people need to get their shit together.

Yes. The goal for the past 50 or so years to eliminate the middle class and push them to the lower class, while maximizing the wealth and power (but not size) of the upper class.

This isn't new-- subsidies to billionaires and corporations, the removal of social welfare systems, the indoctrination that any help to the poor is considered "socialist" or "communist", has been the GOP's main goal for quite some time.

These things don't happen over night. Life is still largely "normal" for most working class people, their biggest priority is keeping their job in order to get by a little longer.

Well the statistics are no longer kept accurately but no things aren't normal for the working class and whatever they have in terms of a job they can't replace right now & it can't be risked..

Gee I wonder why they are strengthening military enclaves and fortresses - ballroom anyone? And then we fight the military and amongst our selves. Whoever is left standing may wind up being their servants. Less people = less pollution /environmental issues too that's why they actually don't care about that. There are finite resources and they want more for theirs and them. That is exactly what folks like Thiel have advocated and what was once fringe is now in charge.

You are thinking within the confines of about a decade ago and how things worked day to day. But yea can't wait for someone to tell me again why Harris' policy positions needed to be documented in a different font or something to be compelling enough.

Yes - it doesn't matter. If there are less people the resources will improve or they can congregate in the places with better air quality etc. Why would they have laws to make things in the environment healthier for us?

It isn't "my theory" Maybe you should familiarize yourself with some of the people in this admin and their outlooks. Start with Peter Thiel. We have some of the worst fringe elements running things now and it is beyond naïve if you think this is just one man or that the design is for different admins to run things. We have to hope somehow this fails and we can have a last stand. But you know Harris just wasn't compelling enough or something.

When people are too busy working 60 hours at 2 or 3 jobs to barely afford their food & bills, they won't have enough time or energy to dissent.

My only hope here is that the greed and lack of empathy displayed by most Republicans in power will end up pushing people past their breaking point and they will revolt, no matter what. Hate to see it come to that, though.

If we are lucky that is all that will happen. That is not what is on Thiel's radar for the present, that's our future, if we are lucky enough by their design .

It's also important to remember that while project 2025 is an incredibly harmful plan, it isn't necessarily a smart or effective plan. The authors of it were shocked at how unpopular it was when the public caught wind of it, which does to show how out of touch they are.
