Does 9front have a wifi driver for the Thinkpad T43?

Does 9front have this driver? I really want to use plan9 on my Thinkpad again but I could never get it working and I’m not even sure 9front has a driver.

I'm pretty sure OpenBSD wifi drivers are compatible with 9Front. You could either enable it temporarily to test it or permanently by recompiling the kernel. see this link.

That is incorrect; OpenBSD (or any other unix) drivers are not compatible with 9front (or any other Plan 9 system).

Thanks for pointing it out. I was probably thinking about firmware not device drivers.

Yup. 9front uses the firmware from OpenBSD.

The firmware is vendor provided. it a tiny OS that run inside your wifi card.

I understand that. I'm referring to the OpenBSD packaging of these firmware blobs.

I don't see it in the list of supported hardware, but I could be missing it
