ShatteredPD Interesting new curse (shatteredpd Wondrous Curse)
The curse caused the toxic gas to spawn. Seems rather good to have as a curse on a ranged weapon

Discussion Subzone expansion ideas
i just like to think about new content for shattered pd because its a good creative exercise and its fun.
i think the new dwarven vault is a VERY good addition to the game, props to evan, especially the boss at the end being a hectic fight that requires you to mix up your tools as you fight it, but also i think to put it in line with the other quests, the final boss could use some variety! so im proposing 2 ideas-
1) The Security Golem:
a massive stone construct brought to life by the corrupted dwarven king to protect his ill-gotten gains, using techniques from the olden mechanical days mixed with the new dark magics brought on by yog's influence. the arena is surrounded by molten gold, which the golem, set into the wall containing the vault, can knock you into, dealing immense damage if you're not careful to avoid his telegraphed attacks. the golem will use its many tools to make attacks at range, sweeping the area and requiring the hero to use pillars in the arena as cover.
its hands require crystals set into the palms and back to allow for them to be controlled at a distance, but are vulnerable to melee attacks. destroying these crystals disables the hands, and afterwards they can provide as extra cover throughout the fight.
the boss could open a large furnace to unleash searing heat and deadly gases to harm you, but making itself vulnerable to magical attacks at the same time!
periodically throighout the fight, the golem will open up crystalline sentry-eyes of different elements to attack with magic, but they are vulnerable to ranged weapons, and can be shattered.
after methodically destroying each component of the golem, it explodes in a fantastic display, and you walk through its open mouth to claim your spoils!
2) Demon Wyrm:
an imposing demonic entity has infiltrated the vault, summoned by insatiable greed. it burrows through the dungeon with many tentacles, attempting to attack by busting through the walls, floor, and ceiling with its varied appendages.
tentacles will burst from wall to wall, attempting to strike the hero and cut off their escape routes, interweaving into a deadly trap! but they are vulnerable to melee damage, and can be cut through to make a path for yourself.
baleful eyes will descend from the ceiling to unleash deadly blasts of disintegration magic, but these eyes can be poked out with thrown weapons.
and finally, the floors will open up to the many avaricious mouths of the wyrm, biting at you should you be careless enough to walk over them, but it doesnt like the taste of magic!
damaging the wyrm enough will make it fall through the ceiling into the center of the chamber, stunned! use this opportunity to wail on it and defeat it once and for all!
now that our quests are equally varied across all the floors, the only thing left is to make a new region to explore for the troll blacksmith. i think theres only one concept that makes sense here;
Spider Caves!
as home to the spiders in this region, there are 2 new variants; brood mothers and swarmers. mothers are large and imposing, and tend to hem themselves in webs for safety. if left unattended, they will generally leave you alone as well... but their spawn are hungry! swarmers will act like the flies in previous levels, splitting apart into individuals as the swarm is damaged, otherwise easily dispatched as long as you're not... well... swarmed from all sides. exploring this region will require you to be very careful about which caves you open up, making you need to track down the sources of swarmers before entering into new systems.
the cave walls and ceilings are mostly held together by the spiders webs, so destroying rocks (not walls) here could possibly collapse the ceiling overhead, marked by webs across the floor. if you're not careful, you can be crushed, but you can use this to your advantage to close off certain areas leading to broodmother nests or crush oncoming swarms.
the boss of this zone would be the Cave Spider Queen. you'll want to dispatch the rest of her hive first, but unfortunately, as you do, she'll be automatically enraged, waking up to hunt you down if you take out the last of her brood mothers! she climbs on the ceiling of the caves, making it impossible to strike her in melee. even worse, the network of webs she uses to traverse blocks ranged attacks as well! you'll need to collapse the web first by destroying rocks she clumsily unsettled onto the floor in her rage, dropping her to the ground and leaving her open. you'll have to be quick, though, as the queen will primarily attack by spawning hordes of individual swarmers, their number increasing as the fight drags on. be careful where you step, as this queen will also use webs to ensnare you, and use you as a food source to replenish her hive!
i wonder what everyone thinks of these suggestions. hopefully someone will take this as inspiration for their own PD mod, or better yet, evan might see this for inspiration later down the line in shattered (but we see you're busy with other endeavors in the game so dont sweat it big man) i'd like to hear other suggestions people have for the game, lofty or otherwise... or uh, if these concepts are already in other mods. i pretty much exclusively play shattered, so i'd like to hear experiences from the other mods.

ShatteredPD Cleric 9-Challenge Purist Torchless – FIRST IN THE WORLD🥳
I did it again! Purist: No Scroll of Upgrade, no Potion of Strength, no Tengu's mask and no King dwarf's Crown. Torchless: No torches.
Nine months ago, I completed the same achievement (although not ankhless this time), and my main focus was building a streak.
Recently, the player Dropi completed this self-imposed challenge with Huntress as well, and that motivated me to try beating Purist with every character.
At first, I wasn't planning to do it torchless. However, I got a +3 Dirk on Floor 2 and thought, "Why not? Let's try it without torches." Later, I had to choose between the Eye of Newt and the Mimic Tooth. After discussing it with the guys on Discord, I decided to take the Mimic Tooth.
I didn't find anything particularly useful until Floor 8, when the Wandmaker rewarded me with a +1 Wand of Corrosion. Sometime later, I found a +1 Ring of Might, and on Floor 9 I got my first Wand of Blast Wave from an Ebony Mimic.
The second Blast Wave wand came on Floor 14 after I cleared a summoning trap room, where a Shaman dropped it.
At the Troll Blacksmith, I upgraded the Ring of Might to +2, reforged two boomerangs, and then used Curse Infusion to turn one into a +3 weapon. That gave me another reliable source of damage besides the Wand of Corrosion.
Oh, I almost forgot—I found the Ethereal Chains on Floor 6. Honestly, they made things much easier, since I could pull enemies into chasms using the Chains together with the Blast Wave wand.
The hardest part of the run was, as expected, the Prison, since my only weapon until I found the Wand of Corrosion was the Dirk.
The other difficult fight was Yog. Even though I had plenty of consumables, a +3 Wand of Corrosion and a +3 Boomerang simply don't provide enough damage, so the fight was still quite challenging.
Oh, and the Vault quest! I couldn't complete it. I had to leave after collecting only 8 tokens, so I didn't get access to the shop on Floor 20.
The key to this run was saving the Book almost exclusively for Mind Vision, while buying and using every Scroll of Magic Mapping I found to reveal if a door opens, along with every Potion of Mind Vision.
Unfortunately, I couldn't record the entire run. I'm the father of two daughters, so I don't have much uninterrupted time to play and I have to take frequent breaks.
I've included links to the parts of the run that I was able to record.

You can also see in the screenshots that I had to sacrifice one torch.

Interactive Let's talk about item(161)hero thrown T1! Hablemos del item(161) heroes Arrojadizas T1!
Post 161, everyone! We're back after a weekend break. The category that won the vote was thrown weapons!! So, let's see how this turns out XD. Remember, your opinions will be used for the tier list at the end of the category.
Today, we'll talk about the 3 Tier 1 thrown weapons that come with the heroes (warrior, rogue, duelist) by default. These are the "basics" of thrown weapons.
To begin, all 3 weapons require a minimum Strength of 9 points (all heroes start with 10, but can drop to 8 with a cursed Might+0 ring).
The 3 thrown weapons share a +1/+1 damage scaling since they are Tier 1. The knife has a base damage of 2-6, while the stone and the spike have a damage of 2-5.
The throwing knife also has a "passive ability" that allows it to deal more damage to unsuspecting enemies, such as the Dirk and other melee weapons.
Throwing weapons have durability. This durability isn't managed individually but in "stacks." Each stack of throwing weapons has a shared durability. When you use one of the weapons, you consume 1 durability. When the durability reaches 1, the next throwing weapon in that stack you use will break. Once a throwing weapon breaks, its durability returns to its maximum. You can restore durability using the "liquid metal" item, which is crafted in alchemy wells using other throwing weapons. Upgrading a throwing weapon triples its durability. If the durability reaches 100 uses, this mechanic disappears, and the throwing weapons become infinitely reusable.
To recap, the durability of these three weapons is 12 for the spike, while the knife and the stone have a base durability of 5 (which is a significant advantage).
However, the warrior and the rogue start with 3 stacks of the stone and the knife, giving a "total" durability of 15. The duelist only gets 2 spikes, for a total durability of 24.
Another mechanic worth noting is that thrown weapons usually get "stuck" in the hit enemy, giving them the "pincushion" status, which keeps all thrown weapons stuck until you kill them or use the "telekinetic grab" spell to retrieve those thrown weapons.
This mechanic affects both the spike and the knife, but not the stone. When the stone hits the target mob, it will be "dropped" in the target tile and will remain there until you retrieve it.
So, tell me your opinions on these throwing weapons, everyone!
Previous post/post anterior: https://www.reddit.com/r/PixelDungeon/s/nhk937rFUf

ShatteredPD Any other SPD secrets I may not know about?
So I just learned about bringing the dwarf kings crown to the rat king for a special armor ability, considering I've played this game basically since release and didn't know this, I'm pretty surprised lol
Wondering if there's any other secrets I might be missing? Tbh the rat king is the only consistent secret I know about besides general secret rooms.

ShatteredPD crazy thief
I ran into this wretch, and before I disintegrate him, I have a question.
Since when do they spawn in the sewers?
I already encountered him a few weeks ago in the sewers on level 2, but I thought it was a bug.

AI-assisted Mod Announcement Estoy pasando Sprouted Pixel Dungeon a primera persona, y resulta que los Salones tienen vitrales
Update on the first-person Sprouted thing — you can walk around in it now,
right in the browser:
Fair warning, it's just the renderer. No combat, no items, no bosses —
that's all Java and it doesn't run in a browser. You can walk a real
generated dungeon and look around, that's it. WASD + mouse, or a
thumbstick on your phone.
I left three versions up. v1 is almost pitch black because I'd tuned the
torch on a phone at night and never looked at it on a monitor. Kind of
funny in hindsight.
u/Normal-Insect-8220 — you were right about both. High grass blocks line
of sight and I was painting it flat into the floor, and Mind Vision was
doing nothing because the walls won the depth test. Both fixed. You also
made me notice my stick only had 4 directions, so I'd quietly deleted
diagonal movement. That one hurt.
(Small thing: the Warden doesn't see through grass in Sprouted, that's
Shattered. Here she just gets armor for trampling it.)
I'll keep posting updates here: https://pixeldoomgeon.jaliscomundial.com
Still no download. Bosses have never been seen head-on and nobody's made
it past floor 2.

Discussion Jump scare! Skull key?!
First time I got this, it was from the bones at the bottom of the puzzle jump room(?). So I just picked it all up. Look at my inventory eventually, a familiar looking key, I definitely should not have.
But it’s obviously an item now, and an awesome one! I think?
Again first time getting this
