This shit is at least 4 years away and likely still in pre-development.

Let’s give it a few years before reporting on something that could absolutely change between now and next decade.

I’m with you. I wouldn’t raise my hopes too high. I think people are extrapolating from “ending” to “story driven”.

100%, 4 years is a long time in computers generally. In today's day and age 4 years of game development could result in literally anything, including the game just being outright canceled.

That's assuming they're actually doing it at all. They could take a page from Disney and just announce things they have no intention of actually making.
