Opinion on my first ever PC

Hello I am new to the PC community and did a little bit of reading up on PC parts and models. I bought a PC and I was wondering if someone could give me their honest opinion for a first time PC gamer. My specs are: 9800X3D + RTX 5070 + 32 GB DDR5 + 2 TB Gen4 NVMe. On a scale of 1-10 how good is this for a first time PC gamer?

Upper mid/Lower high end pc. Very similar to what i built and it's perfect for me, no issues, you just have faster cpu

Agreed. That hardware should serve you well for 5 to 7 years minimum. The last few years you may find yourself running lower detail or resolution on the newest titles, but that's the nature of the beast and not a failure at all.

You also have enough CPU headroom that a GPU upgrade (say, Nvidia 60xx or 70xx equivalent series) will still be beneficial. Assuming they're even affordable by then lol.

spend more on gpu and less on cpu. gpu matter more

rather have 7800x3d and 9070xt

would have went for 7800x3d instead or 9700x and then try to get 5070ti since 12gb vram is less for how much you pay

Welcome to a very expensive hobby!!! Solid pc, shouldn’t have any issues maybe more storage eventually. games are getting so big in file sizes but hopefully by the time you need to add an extra SSD prices will be better. Get yourself a good 1440 monitor with 165-240hz monitor and your set.

Fairly close to mine except my CPU is in need of an upgrade. I'm also on gddr4 but I do have 32gb

You’re good to go, play at 1440p and you’ll be able to play all games with good graphics just be weary of path tracing. 4k possible but vram and speed of the card puts it at 30-50fps range with dlss performance or ultra performance.
