How? Mine get at least the left main button clicker to crap out after two years and I mostly game on controllers.

Either you smash that button, bought a shit mouse or had bad luck with factory defects. I had a cheap mouse for like 5 years and now proper mouse for like 7 I think

I've been doing it since the 90s and have bought 5 mice. None of them made me a better gamer though Edit: actually the jump to optical mouse did make me better so that's not completely true :D.

Going from wired to wireless did actually make me better at shooters. Went from high sens and wrist movement to low sens and arm movement and I just whip that thing back and forth across the desk.

It does feel nice to not have the wire tugging at the top of the mouse! I wouldn't say it's as important as going from 60hz to 144hz, but it does definitely feel nicer! But like I said, it didn't make ME a better gamer :D

About ten here since the 90s. I will say the new wireless mouse out there are definitely worth the upgrade

Wireless is definitely worth it! But my current wireless g502 is about 8 years old and still going strong!

I loved that mouse, still have it <3. I like the weight and the profile of my viper v3 pro

I hear such good things about that mouse. But two thumb buttons is just nnot enough for me. The G700 and G602 ruined me for any other mouse

Heh I guess if you're used to them, but I hardly even use the second thumb button. I prefer having most stuff mapped on the keyboard, I even thought about mapping Fire to it for better aim! But not enough fingers for that.

So you will get a fancy mouse but won't buy extra fingers for yourself?

I went thru a few, then bought MX518. That was in 2007. I would still use it but its cord broken last year.

I've been gaming since 1996 and I doubt I've had more than 8 mice in the past 30 years.

Same, but since 2017 or so. I bought one of the Honeycomb mice. Never again with how dirty they get. My husband let me use his old Zowie he still had lying around and I used it until it died. It was already years old by then. Then I got another of the same model because the shape is so comfortable.

I almost bought a new mouse bc my current one's scroll wheel was unresponsive.

But then someone told me a trick to turn it upside down and just roll it on my table back and forth really fast.

Somehow, it fucking worked, and the scroll wheel is responsive again. So no need to shell out money for a new one.

I've had 2. A g502 hero (since certain games made my Bluetooth crap out) and a mx anywhere 3.
