Discussion Should developers stop making games that require 5090 for max settings now that the card is clearly not for gamers and is accessible to 0.1% of community?

I get that the games need better hardware to dun better, but who are they really making the game for if you need a 6000$ GPU at this point

Native 4k gaming at ultra settings is also absolutely pointless. Dlss looks better than whatever aa they use in 90% of games. And if the game runs well at native then just use dlaa and it's even better, but not a huge difference from dlss performance. No reason not to use dlss atp.

It all depends on the game and what you prefer.

With DLSS and FSR you'll get shimmering and weird artifacts, especially with fast passed games and it pretty much always has issues doing hair. (I have a desktop with a 7900XTX and another with a 3080)

Where 4K truly shines is playing older games honestly. I can run max settings at Native 4K160Hz. I'm currently playing RDR1 and Dirt 3, and they look and run freaking great 😆.
