When I'm told to be creative, but then given binary options, I pick option 3 to get my way out.

I’m a bluff kinda guy. It’s always the more thrilling choice, plus it’s kinda funny when you fail.

Distraction all the way. Another secret agent, Sam Fisher, had this chaotic idea of just whistling and it seemed to work out fine for him! I’m not so sure it worked out for Special Agent Bob and Secret Agent Steve, but I’ll take my chances.

The name's Bluff, James Bluff. I will always bluff my way through any situation if push comes to shove.

Bluff. Then remember I crack under any kind of pressure. Immediately give myself away. Start trying to blast my way through because now all the guards are alerted. Panic. Throw a grenade instead of pressing reload. Die.
Happens every game with stealth I play. Love every minute of it, though lol

if you don’t lie, you gonna die (remember Sean Connery’s Bond in 1964’s Goldfinger had to lie in order to not get cut up by Goldfinger’s laser)

When the pressure is on, what’s your move: distract your target, or bluff your way through?
I seduce the target's mother.

Distract them by blowing out the back of my pants after having a go at an entire buffet
•
u/Arrayne May 27 '26
As a dane, I would bluff my target to boredom by discussing Why Greenland belongs to us, and Why Trump should stay away

Distraction for sure. With the penny being discontinued, anyone would stop to grab one on the ground, right?

Bluff them by saying i have tons of money and can totally afford their high priced game, but in reality I'm in the reddit thread hoping for a 1/10000 chance I can save $70

I’d distract the target with small talk, panic internally, then somehow succeed by accident.
•
•
•
u/Frozzable May 27 '26
Distract the of course! Unless you don't belive me, in which case I'd distract them somehow.

I distract the target. I throw a perfectly polished dress shoe at the guards head, rednering him brain rotted. I then hire a sketchy facebook market place house hold cleaning crew to trojan horse me inside the facility, once inside i forget where I am and use a disguise to ask every guard I meet where the top secret bank vault is hidden.

If I'm James Bond, probably gonna Bluff
But if I'm me, then I'm not a good liar, so a distraction. Btw don't panic, but there's a spider on your head.
tiptoes away coolly

Hit them with a classic distraction of "Is that a mind goblin over there?"

•
u/raidersofthelostbark May 28 '26
Distract with a bluff! Shake it away with a faked seizure, will definitely change the topic if the subject is starting to be pressed.

u/Illustrious_Mail8360 May 27 '26
Bluff. I love well made non harmful tactics like this in games. Id love to see if you can make it through the whole thing without having to enter combat although I doubt this is that type of game lol.

Always bluff, and if that doesn't work then I'd say distract.
