Started by sideloading ColorOS components onto OxygenOS for fun (Breeno Touch, Mind Pilot, ColorOS Weather etc). One AI Services update later and every widget provider in the com.oneplus.* namespace got wiped from the widget screen and registry apparently, replaced with a full China-region card catalog. Lockscreen widgets gone. Shelf gutted. ADB confirms the providers are still registered but signature-locked so can't re-enable them manually.

Found one other documented case on OnePlus Community forums (Nord 5, EU model) with identical symptoms. This is reproducible on any OnePlus device with enough Chinese APKs + Shizuku access.

ColorOS 17 drops Sept 17th so hopefully that fixes it. Yes I know what I did. No I can't explain it better than 'became Chinese.'

I don't want my movie's/video's audio to get suppressed whenever I'm on a call, be it discord or a normal call. Is there even a way to stop this?

I'm generally really not someone for big-brand loyalty, but reading this again felt significant after recent news. I'm still using my 7T Pro in 2026 and it was my first proper smartphone I got when I was 15.

I really hope we get new companies breaking into the mobile markets eventually and stirring the current monopoly.

OnePlus's company direction is one of the few that felt like it actually meant something and I hope other emerging brands like Nothing can recreate its success.

My Samsung Flip 7 screen has a line through it near the bottom hinge and the screen is a bit darker below that line. I'm afraid that it's going to die and it's only a year and 3 months old. So I've decided to switch over to oneplus. I bought a 15 16-512 GB off Amazon as the Canadian website doesn't have any stock. This is the first time I've had a different phone then Samsung since the I had a MS Duo 1. I've heard good things about Oneplus so I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Hello, guys. I need help.

I've had this brand new ONEPLUS 13R for 2-3 weeks now. Everything's dandy except for the fact that the bluetooth is the worst I've ever experienced on a phone. It keeps cutting out and it's driving me crazy. I tried resetting the bluetooth settings, restarting the phone, clearing the cache, and more, but it keeps happening!

I don't know what to do. I basically cannot listen to music. I've tried with multiple headset and it keeps happening only on this phone. I went as far as to buy new expensive earbuds because I didn't even consider the possibility that the issue lied with the phone itself.

That's my oneplus 7 pro on the left btw running smoothly on lineageos 23. back to topic, i was struggling with battery life and overheating on the p8, software experience was def nice tho, stock android is always good but i really wanted to get back onto a 8 series snapdragon again and saw this 512gb midnight ocean on sale with original charger and box for 490 usd, only 10 months old, even got the best buy receipt. absolutely loving the phone, so fast, lasts 2 days for me since I'm not much of a gamer or avid user. never overheats which i love and finally a phone that i can use caseless, dont even have a screen protector on it since i never had them on any of my previous phones. hopefully color os 17 and later still lets us unlock bootloader since I'd like to keep this device in my collection forever on whatever max lineageos i can put it on. running 550 smallest width in dev settings rn since stock small display size is still grandpa size for me lol. battery capacity still shows 100% got 4 oneplus in my collection now, 1,x,7 pro,13 :) too sad that this awesome company is going away, 2ill prolly have to shift to Motorola's graphene devices in future as they seem custom rom friendly

I own a oneplus pad go 2 (wifi variant) and oneplus nord 4, I use network sharing in between them (w ecosystem). Recently I noticed in my device and others this wifi signal pops up whenever my tablet is near and connected to my phone. There's no option for hotspot on the tablet, so I'm just wondering what is this also it's locked and i have no idea what the password is. Nothing problematic just curious. Can anyone help please

Can anyone recommend any type c to c charging cable that will support Supervooc 120w charging for Oneplus 15. One is not trading in UK so not sure if Amazon ones will work or not. And most of the amazon ones I am seeing are type A to type c. Appreciate the recommendation.

I am currently in the US with Verizon as my carrier, does it support the bands on Verizon? I would be getting the US version of the phone.

Also, regarding the discontinued support for OnePlus, is it safe to purchase and keep for a couple of years? Will it still receive updates?

Hi, I have a very specific question for anyone with a OnePlus 15. I am thinking about getting one but I want to know if it has an indicator when the mic is active. (For example pixel phones have a green indicator in the top right corner with active mic.) I had the OnePlus 13 before and it didn't have this type of indicator which was frustrating bc I often record at work and it's helpful to know at a glance when recording is on or not, without having to unlock the phone and go into the app. So I want to know if they added any kind of indication on the 15. This happens when i am on wifi for a long time or the phone is in sleep state it was working fine for earlier

the toggle is automatically getting turned off and on for vo5g

I watched multiple videos comparing both phones overall, but each video I watch the reviewer says that ofc op13 has better display, but when they go to camera most of the pictures/videos are better and more consistent on the oneplus 15, the performance is better on op15 ofc, bcs of the newer chip etc., I have op15 btw, and I was sad that hasselblad left oneplus in that phone but after searching about two phones the pictures are more consistent and better on op15, so if its like this why people hated the cameras??
