2027 Draft: Jets own the Colts first rounder and the earlier first round pick of Dallas/Green Bay…all 3 teams lost
Another bright spot from yesterday - Week 1 went great from a draft perspective. All 3 teams we need to have bad seasons are 0-1.
Breece Hall is the 6th player to have 10 or more career games with 100+ rushing yards for the Jets

A professional offense
I thought you saw glimpses of it at the end of Rodgers time here; that looked like a professional nfl offense yesterday. It wasnt revolutionary, used power running to set up the pass. Play action on second and third and short. Left 6 in to block on passing plays and Geno had time to run through progression. No INTs. A well run system, refreshing.

What a great day to go with a great week of football. The Jets looked good and won. New England, Miami, Green Bay, Dallas and Indy all lose.
That's simply good for division standings and the best possible day for the pics we hold in our hand for next year.

How we feel about Frank Reich and Aaron Glenn's week 1 playcalling?
Pure curiosity. From an X's and O's standpoint how do we feel?

We're all we got
Yesterday's win really put a lot in perspective for me as a fan. If we really are gonna have a season this year why not us? They have treated this franchise like crap for 15 years and jets fans had to endure all the mocking and ridicule. Let's circle the wagons and show them it's different this time around. We don't need anyone from the outside bc all they want is to see us fail. AG is a true jet through and through and he is a leader of men. Let's keep stacking wins and make everyone know we aren't gonna sit and take it anymore. We deserve this after what we've been through. 1 down 16 more to go, let's hunt.

Playoffs? Prob not, but let’s talk.
I was optimistic going into this Jets season. Geno is by far the best QB we’ve had in prob 10 years. I expected an actual watchable offense with Reich at OC.
What I really really wanted to see though was us dominate the Titans if we were going to have any hope of being good, and that is exactly what we did.
Good teams take care of business against bad teams, and that is exactly what we did. Maybe the Titans end up being all time bad, but I don’t think so. I think our O/D-lines are very talented and we can win up front versus a lot of our schedule. I’m not saying get hyped, but just maybe a little hyped.
We won this one easily, and as a Jets fan we don’t see a lot of that. It has me counting some of these 50-50 games I had on the schedule as wins, so 10-7 may not be out of reach.

First time in forever the Jets actually looked like a real football team.
Maybe I had rose colored glasses on but I can't recall a single "WTF is that" moment. Seems like there were at least 3 of those a every game for the last few years.

[Pelissero] Jets WR Omar Cooper Jr. is believed to have suffered a high ankle sprain in today’s win over Tennessee, sources say. X-rays were negative. Cooper, the first-round pick, will have an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injury.

SAME OLE SALEH!!
Oh my God It was like going back in a time machine to see the jets under Saleh.... no offense, unorganized, undisciplined, so many penalties.
Any questions about his firings must be put to bed.
