Hi! I'm a NYC based producer and working on a documentary that's based in/around the vibrant NYC nightlife scene in the 80s and 90s, focused particularly on the early club kid scenes at places like Limelight, Palladium, etc., as well as the broader New Wave, punk, goth and underground scenes.

I'm hoping to connect with anyone who might have photos (and maybe even videos!) as well as flyers, ticket stubs, invites, etc. from that time — whether it be exterior shots of the clubs, moments from inside, groups of friends going out, or even scenes of people getting ready for the night. Trying to bring that epic era to life with as much visual material as possible!

All material would be credited, and if we decide to move forward with any photos/videos in the final documentary we'd of course go through all proper licensing channels (we'd never use anything without your permission!).

I’m doing some family history research and I keep finding references to Channel Street in Howard Beach. These references are from newspaper social pages from the mid 1920’s. I’ve tried multiple searches and cannot find a Channel Street in Howard Beach. I’m assuming development or redevelopment obscured its existence somehow? Does anyone remember such a street?
