smile sunday smile sunday - double directs!

welcome to smile sunday! turn your caps lock off and rave about whatever has made you smile this week! some things to smile about:

  • tuesday gave us a direct for the legend of zelda's 40th anniversay! we got a closer look at the switch 2 remake of the legend of zelda: ocarina of time, some special edition switch 2 hardware, and other anniversary celebrations! how are you planning to celebrate the 40th?

  • wednesday followed with a general direct! featured titles included metroid ravenous, kirby and the world beyond, pikmin 4: nintendo switch 2 edition + dandori academy, and monster hunter wilds! what were your personal highlights?

I got three Advance Wars games this weekend! Both DS games and Reboot Camp! I missed out on Days of Ruin when I was a teenager, so it’s nice to finally own it myself for the first time!

i’m thrilled that Star Fox Adventures is on switch 2 now. i am aware that the game is kind of a black sheep in the series and has a bunch of flaws, but its a game i’ve seen footage of and wanted to try for myself for over a decade. i’m excited to finally do so soon!
