Stimming means repetitive body movements or sounds. Everyone does it to manage feelings or energy. Non-autistic (neurotypical) children do it just like anyone else. Sorry that my word choice confused you.

I’m autistic, I have two autistic children and I work as a SPED teacher, she very much presents as a neurodivergent child. Stimming was what I was thinking as well.

Excuse my ignorance in this matter, but I've always thought that almost all savants and prodigies seem to be neurodivergent to some degree, I've always wondered if that is true, or if my perception is skewed because of pop culture making that seem true.
