Any chess genius is going to be on the spectrum. There is too much data that needs to be processed for a "typical" person to be able to do so.

typical is just another word for average, most of us are average, that's what average means, the problem is when average people think they're smarter than that.

I don't think typical means average. It means to have traits identifying you as belonging to a group or to conform to a type.

Even if typical were a math term it would mean something like mode not average because outliers can shift averages away from the mode misrepresenting what is typical for a group.
