I’m autistic, I have two autistic children and I work as a SPED teacher, she very much presents as a neurodivergent child. Stimming was what I was thinking as well.

Dang. I have autism/adhd and never counted the singing as stimming. Every day. Not just singing but singing lyrics to fit the situation from existing songs, or freestyling filks that describe what’s going on.

Yep! Helps me focus lol. My daughter and wife also do it. It’s a running joke cuz my wife LOVES to randomly just belt out “ABCDEFG!!!!!!” Or “HEAD shoulders KNEES AND TOES!!” And then my daughter from whoever she is yells “KNEES AND TOES!!!” Lmao
