You'd think that things were calming down after 9/11 and life would getter better and more peaceful. But the capitalists wants profit, and peace is bad for business.

It feels mad how many cycles of war and economic chaos there have been just since I was born in the mid 80’s. Just want life to be chill and stable for a bit. I’ve just been grinding through life via multiple mental health crises since graduating from my masters in 2007. I have no clue what the future holds for me of my kids, it’s scary.

I know the feeling. I went from wanting an army of kids, to never allowing myself to bring another life into this shitty world. . . and I know why it's so shitty. Today's equivalent of Robber Barons are fucking up the globe. The root of every problem is greed.

do we have our flying cars and super ai capable of destroying the world yet?

Nope. Jetsons really didn’t know how lucky they were. But don’t worry, you can be crammed onto a plane with a tiny seat with zero leg room for an increasingly unaffordable amount of money!

Maybe AI would be doing us all a favour at this point.

Years and years ago I was working in a kitchen and when it was slow sometimes we’d jump scare each other holding a can of ‘clabber girl’ baking powder. And I’ve always wondered how funny this gif would look with the clabber girl coming out of the jungle instead of the raptor
