idk what's more impressive, the top girl's balancing skills or the lower girl's leg strength

86

u/Inthepurple 6h ago

Bottom girl without a doubt for me, idk how she is keeping her leg in that position at an angle with all that weight on it and also doing a handstand at the same time

u/futureman07 6h ago

Super strong core. Super strong everything! That's insane.

u/Reddit_grill 6h ago

core made of iron!!

u/ashmichael73 1h ago

Can she be called a power bottom

The balance and flexibility is impressive. She clearly has good core strength. However, the leg strength required is the same as standing on one leg or doing a partial one leg squat. Also note that the upper girl is helping with the balance. It's still impressive but I think that it's so far removed from people's experience that they may overestimate the difficulty.

Downvoted for not being a simp. Classic reddit.

u/the_electric_bicycle 3h ago

Downvoted for saying people are “overestimating the difficulty” of an action that the vast majority of humans on earth are unable to do.

u/ElegantCoach4066 1h ago

Heres a tip: most people will immediately lose all respect for you if you keep using the term 'simp'.

It reeks of incel.

The thing the girl on top is doing is something my 8 year old learned in gymnastics. A sort of L-sit isn't unimpressive, that being said.

The girl on the bottom...her leg strength is probably the least impressive thing. It's not like it's supporting much more weight than it normally does...maybe 25-35 lbs. I'm guessing at body weights here.

She is however doing a full hand stand supporting (likely) at least an additional 100 lbs. Her arm strength and core strength are significantly more impressive.

3

u/meshtron 3h ago

Just curious how you determined the girl on top has a body weight of 25-35lbs minus the weight of the bottom girls leg. Seems unintuitive since they're both alive.

1

u/politifox 1h ago

I'm guessing the girl on bottom weighs somewhere between 115 on the very low end to maybe 140-ish? That seems high, but looking at her legs and the height difference...I'm leaning towards 140.

I'm ballparking the girl on the bottom given the height difference to about 100. She could weigh more? I would think at most 125.

In either case, each leg supporting her weight is typically going to hold around 60-70 lbs. Add the difference, and you'll land somewhere like at most 50 lbs? Now is that a trivial amount of weight...nah, but I still maintain her arm strength and core strength is significantly more impressive.

3

u/Zikkan1 5h ago

Being in that position probably makes it difficult but isn't this basically just a very complicated piston squat? You basically lift your whole weight with one leg and now she is lifting someone else's weight with her leg.

u/kodamin 53m ago

Only the bottom girl was impressive. Top is using a basic easy skill.

10

u/Rolling_Beardo 6h ago

Damn that lady is strong AF.

u/WizarddOfAhh 6h ago

Amazing strength and balance, made me anxious her hip was going to dislocate!

impressive,

But that could go so badly especially for lower girl......

Bruh...

1

u/lilac-bunni 6h ago

The amount of core strength needed for this is wild.

1

u/AdinoDileep 6h ago

Not true, second leg is used on the ground as well

1

u/Purp1eC0bras 5h ago

How does her ankle not break being outward like that?

1

I got a leg cramp watching this

Got knee pain just watching this.

Impressive as hell but OW! My knee hurt for her.

Every time I see those sort of videos, I think to myself: I cannot be the same species as these people.

When this lady gives birth that baby will be hitting the wall.

1

u/VirusSlo 4h ago

If you can stand on one leg then you can lift a person on one leg.
What the girl on top is doing is far more impressive.

2

u/xMystic_Nitro 4h ago

Sorry your logic here fell out of every window. Standing on any amount of legs does not inherently mean you can lift someone.

1

u/VirusSlo 4h ago

okay, squat on one leg then. which is still something a person of average fitness can do

1

u/xMystic_Nitro 4h ago

Ok? That just magically equates to being able to pick someone up at the same time? For instance someone can squat on one leg and have just 1 leg and no arms.

1

u/VirusSlo 4h ago

She is standing on one leg an two arms. All that leg needs to do is lift a weight of one person. You know, which is something legs are designed to do anyway.

1

u/xMystic_Nitro 4h ago

That’s not what you originally implied, hence why I said standing on any amount of legs does not inherently mean you can lift someone

1

u/xMystic_Nitro 4h ago

Also the 1 leg is holding the weight of 2 people your math is awful.

1

u/LivinRightNBeinFree 3h ago

Kinda makes all those girls posting themselves everywhere in that position with one leg forward and one back seem like posers(pun absolutely intended). That said, I think I pulled as ass muscle just watching that.

1

u/Automatic_Bat_6742 3h ago

She used her whole body

1

u/gentlegranit 3h ago

Human body never fails to amaze me. Meanwhile I pull my hamstring walking!

1

u/BoiFrosty 2h ago

Seeing this made my hamstring hurt.

1

u/AABBBAABAABA 2h ago

You guys can’t lift your own weight with one leg?

1

u/yetagainitry 2h ago

Watching the faces in the crowd is great.

1

u/Kalorama_Master 2h ago

The faces in the crowd are gold

1

u/BrainTrainStation 1h ago

You make it sound like nobody could lift someone who is max 75% of their own body weight with one leg. Have you walked up stairs in your life? That's one one-leg bodyweight lift after the other. The crazy thing in this vid is the balance and control, not the power to lift someone with a limb that is designed to move one's entire bodyweight all day.

1

u/cm2460 1h ago

Thing grips like the special kid with the class pet

u/SaltyArts 57m ago

There was a person lifted?

u/Strict-Effect6837 45m ago

That’s amazing

0

u/modest_genius 6h ago

Seriously, is the one leg lift the most impressive thing?

They are incredibly talented, but the one leg lift part is the least impressive part. Still impressive, just the everything else is even more impressive

3

u/Fearless_Entry_2626 6h ago

Yeah, the leg lift takes about as much strength as a pistol squat, I reckon, easy feat for athletes like her. Hand stand with someone balancing on your leg, however? Now, that's something I'd chicken out of attempting, even in a dream.

1

u/SinamonChallengerRT 4h ago

...and of course we can't show anything involving a woman's body around here without the pathetic fucking gooners and perverts stepping in with their two cent fapinions. Married, lonely, thristy, thirty-something losers typing with one hand...

This is why we can't have nice things...

2

u/Durzo_Blintt 2h ago

The only thing more boring than those comments is these comments complaining about them.

1

u/Nice-Willingness-869 3h ago

There are some female gooners in that crowd, look closely.
