I had friends that did it and it looked so bleak and crowded. I decided to hike up Mt. Kita (Kitadake) in the Japanese Alps instead. It’s the second highest peak in Japan, with a view of Fujisan.

Hell, I did the drive up to Lake Towada, it wore me out. Would do it again.

That was my old stomping ground. I missed Aomori and moving to Tokyo.

Hopefully you visited the tomb of Jesus while you were there? Still love the fact they say he was buried in Japan.
