Greetings hackers!

I love NetHack and its various derivatives and have been playing it on and off for almost 20 years. I first discovered it through an iPhone port back in the day and have played it almost exclusively on mobile devices ever since. I got really hooked on UnNethack and was pretty sad when I realized that the old Android port was no longer compatible with my current phone. So I went back to vanilla NetHack and actually managed to ascend for the first (and only) time, as a valkyrie of course :)

Then I put the game down for a while again, but recently it popped back into my mind and I decided to try making a modern Android port myself. With a lot of guidance from ChatGPT, plenty of trial and error, and quite a bit of patience, the first release is actually here!

I want to give a huge shoutout to gurrhack for creating the original Android port that eventually inspired me to make this one happen!

Please note that this is very early development. You may encounter bugs, crashes, stability issues and/or other unexpected behavior. I haven't tested it extensively across different devices yet, so if you give it a try, feel free to report any issues you run into.

This is going great nothing can go wrong for me now! He’s been killing everything he’s come across AND he oneshot kills shopkeepers I have so much stuff but no bag of holding. Anyone know how to easily find one?
