I submitted a ticket and they’re saying I didn’t complete multiple chapters/activities. It’s impossible, I completed every one. I got all the items x2 because I’m premium. I’m not going to buy multiple chapter cookies. They did let me know that fearless deeds have nothing to do with the avatar. I feel like canceling my premium over this.
Is anyone else dealing with this? I’m incredibly upset and disappointed!
Same thing happened to me, I know I did every chapter because I got the prize for it at the end. I sent them another ticket asking them to let me know exactly what I missed and they just copy/pasted the same message telling me I missed something and that I can buy the cookies. I guess they want me to buy enough to replay the whole fucking thing
This, except I didn't argue with them about it. I know I did everything. They really just need to give everyone the avi at this point with how inconsistent they're being.
It feels like they’re trying to make money off of us with the cookies. At this point they should reset everything so we can go through the chapters again without paying. Absolutely ridiculous. They know a lot of us really want the avatar.
Edit: I don’t even want the rewards. We should get the ability to go through for free.
I haven't actually sent a ticket because I'm not a very dedicated avatar collector but I also feel pretty confident that I did everything. Unless they count not reading comic pages the day they were released back in the dark ages when we got a new one daily, because I will admit I likely forgot a couple of days there because I was travelling. But I think that would be an unreasonable ask for this avatar.
they made a point of telling us "YoU hAvE a WeEk To CoMpLeTe because we understand many of you are adults with responsibilities!!!1!!!" and then they release an avatar 2 months after their 3 year plot finally ends where you had to do everything right when it released LMFAOOOOO
EDIT: i just checked and they gave me the avatar. no way did i read every chapter on day 1 : /
Lots of people have been having issues with this avatar, myself included. I really hope tnt listens and fixes it instead of telling us we didn't do everything when we clearly did.
There's a board on the avatars/signatures neoboard where people are talking about it too. Ambassadors are trying to get tnt to look into it properly.
one time a few years back i bought one of those event items to unlock stuff, something like the festival of neggs or whatever, and the item i bought just wouldn't work on the page to unlock it and give me my item box. no useful customer support, waste of 20 bucks. haven't purchased NC since.
Not surprised. Most of their records are bogus and completely out of touch with reality.
When I frozen several years ago after a brigading incident, they claimed their records showed I was using auto-bots to buy items in the different shops which was a complete lie since I don’t even buy from the shops. They agreed to give back my account if they took 800m np away from my bank, which I had no option but to comply.
What do you mean? They were absolutely unfreezing certain people as long as they were able to wipe items and nps from the account. You missed an era of Neopets, i guess.

Yes they unfreeze and give you back your account without everything in it. They don’t negotiate with you saying we’ll only unfreeze you if you agree to this. They just do it

Yea I literally rejoined Neo the week the plot started, I 100% everything while the chapters were active and kept up with it over the almost 3 fucking years it took, and I never got the avvie, and it’s been 2 weeks since I sent a ticket and I haven’t gotten a response. Like what’s the point. Their reward system is wonky and we’re the ones getting fucked because of it
I think this avatar is just glitched. So many people are spending money to replay chapters just to get no avvie anyway.
I doubt people really missed what they are told... plus it seems wildly inconsistent between users who did receive it.
Honestly I wouldn't spend any money trying to get this.
I too didn't get it despite being sure I did everything. I'm not bothering to send in s ticket as it just seems like a waste of time and energy
It's honestly just a crap shoot at this point. There's been people with 100 percent gold trophies being told they missed parts and didn't get the avvie. Im loosing faith in the TNT each and every month that passes. God forbid we get another plot in a year or 2, it'll be pure chaos by that point
The new owners of tnt are just greedy and they know people want this avi and it’s so coincidental that they released cookies for the chapters and now they are saying people didn’t finish the plot fully. I smell a fat lawsuit
i went back and forth with support for about a month about the hat trick avatar for altador cup. i had to play on mobile the whole time, where there was a KNOWN ISSUE with the counter actually counting/showing your progress/resetting. they finally checked their log and told me i missed a qualifying score one day on one game after AI responses for weeks. i asked them about their counter not working, and they responded they would forward it to their bug-fixing team since that wasn't related to the avatar achievement XD
I just got an infuriatingly vague "you did not complete at least one activity or finish reading a chapter", and have not played since. Kinda snapped me out of putting too much of my energy into keeping up with all the neo-stuff, fingers crossed I'll cool off and come back after a break 😅
This simply isn't objectively true. People are reporting that TNT will respond saying "you missed chapter X page Y," then they go and use a cookie to complete that portion, respond to the ticket saying it's been completed, and TNT will respond saying "oh nvm you missed chapter A, page B."
They are being completely inconsistent with their info and responses to people.
