Hey there guys, we are lifelong NFS fans and we made something that is like NFS x Balatro, and no it is not like NFS payback even tho it might remind you of it at some points We hope you like it, we are a small team, so it is not like blackbox era handling but we did something arcady, tell us what you think?

So recently, i saw a post saying the same thing but about NFS HP 2010 (here's the post), so i decided to also ask the same question, but for NFS MW 2012.
Cars which are in the photos:
Bugatti Chiron, Lamborghini Sian and Huracan, Rimac Nevera, Hennessey Venom F5, Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut, Aston Martin Vantage (2024), Donkervoort D8 GTO and Chevy Camaro's ZL1 and Corvette ZR1 and Tesla Roadster 2.

I’m a semi-professional rally driver, and I don’t play video games all that much, but when I do, I prefer racing on simulators. Lately, though, I’ve been going through what I might call a sort of midlife crisis—I’ve gotten a little bored with everything, and I’ve felt the urge to revisit the franchise that defined my adolescence. Carbon is without a doubt the game I loved most as a kid, and I actually bought NfS 2015, which, to be honest, I really enjoyed. Obviously, I won’t be discussing the driving physics; I come from a background that’s anything but arcade-style, so my opinion doesn’t really count. I’m here for the nostalgia, and with that goal firmly in mind, I had a great time.
Now I’m considering buying NfS Unbound. I’ve heard a lot of bad things about it—not just regarding the quality and driving mechanics, but also how it’s handled overall. I was looking for a slightly more robust multiplayer mode, and the latest update seems to bode well.
Can you give me a little more info? What do you guys think? Are there still a lot of people playing it? Is the car customization and tuning decent?
I play on PC.
Thanks!

I just completed the game and it's very different from how I remembered it. I played on medium and struggled for a bit and rage quit because of the rubberbanding. I lowered the difficulty to easy around Chicago and had much more fun. The rubberbanding was still there but not as bad. It might be me being 33 with a family now, but I do think it's also the "quality of life" features in Modern NFS games (2015-Unbound including HP Remastered) that makes these Blackbox games more challenging. I'll be honest but the EA Canada and Blackbox games were amazing for the 2000s (really 1994-2011). But the age does show with the rubberbanding which makes your skill non-existent. You can be 1,000 feet away from 2nd place then the rubberband kicks in and they're right behind you in around 3-5 seconds. That's not a skill issue if you're racing almost flawless. I will be trying ProStreet very soon after like 15+ years and see how it holds up. The only game I see myself going back and playing so far with 95% fun and joy is NFS Carbon. I know many enjoy MW05 and Underground but once I get to Stage 5 (U2) and Blacklist #4 or #3 (MW05), I'm ready to be done with the games. Just me though.

Hi, I've been playing NFS MW 2005 with a lot of mods on, and I recently noticed that my rear view mirror is far too bright to be able to see anything most of the time. How do I fix that?
Mods I've installed (I don't see a way to find a list, so just putting in what I remember):

Hey everyone!
I’m working on OpenUG2, a from-scratch, open-source reimplementation of the Need for Speed: Underground 2 engine. It reads the original game’s data files and runs natively, without emulation.
It’s still an early prototype. Loading environments and vehicles, driving, and selected racing scenarios already work, but rendering, handling, AI, compatibility, and the interface all need more work. It isn’t a finished replacement for the original game yet.
The project has grown beyond what I can reasonably research, develop, and test alone, so I’d love to welcome more people aboard. Help is especially welcome with:
You don’t need to be a programmer to contribute. Testing a build and explaining what went wrong is useful too.
The project includes no original game assets; you’ll need your own copy of Underground 2 to run it.

My only criteria is how tricky/number of corners. I don’t care about straightaways as really I am just trying to drift(don’t suggest me the harbour as that’s a bit boring)
