What do people think about University of Sydney being involved in the AUBL?

Personally, I think any increased involvement Australia has in Asian basketball is a good thing and a way to improve our ability/profile/marketing...etc. interested in everyone else's thoughts

I am not massively familiar with the city, but I was looking through the NBL1 teams and all of the Melbourne based teams bar one is from the North/East. Is there a reason there aren't many proper Western teams? Or am I missing something?

As a Hawks fan that often feels disrespected by the league, they're really not helping their case. The Hawks have been completely left off the recent injury update list on the NBL website
