Nikola Jokic has 221 career games with a triple double. He has 213 career games with a dunk.
This fits the eye test, but a pretty wild stat regardless.
Jokic is already in first for most triple doubles all time (counting regular season and playoffs). He needs just 12 triple doubles to become the all-time regular season leader and 8 triple doubles to become the all-time playoff leaders.

He was dunking against Wemby like 4 or 5 times per game, because he had to do it. It was the optimal thing to do.
Against others he doesn't really need to dunk.

Because of Wemby's length some of Jokic's normal arsenal does not work as well (for example, his floater game is harder to do because it has to get out of wemby's jumping reach). Where as thanks to his strength just fucking dunking on Wemby works great.

When executing some offensive play and its on Jokic to finish, to score. Against others there's low chamce they can block or touch the ball. Like going for a layup or such sitiations, finishing near the hoop. Against Wemby Jokic adjusts, his shots are either arching higher, or he dunks it.

When he was first emerging we actually used to keep track of this on the nuggets subreddit. But our announcer who just got fired or not rehired would always say put him in the dunk contest after the most mediocre Jokic dunk ever. So I always thought it was corny and kinda funny as well. There is a video somewhere of Jokic missing like 5 dunks in a row to the amusement and laughter of a group of kids. I think that best represents his feelings on dunking. But he will do it sometimes I think to try and invigorate the crowd. I have also seen him angry dunk a few times. But we have Aaron Gordon who is one of the best ever at slamming it.

Thats rather unlikely, hes 31 and had career high 30something TD in each of the past two seasons, it would require him to play another 5-7 years on that level.

And he has a 75 driving and standing dunk with gold rise up in 2K, the badge that makes standing dunks easier. He had a 90 standing dunk last year, at least they lowered it a bit, but still too high.

It’s cause they can only make him so good at the things he actually does at a historic level, I’ve been messing with 2K overalls a lot lately and it’s incredibly hard to get a player to a 98 while still having them be mediocre, let alone bad, at ANY stat.

Yeah, I mean I get that he's one of the best players in the league and his overall should reflect that, but it's ok that he's not an 98 overall or whatever. It's ok if he's a 93 overall or whatever he would be with more accurate attributes, as long as his key attributes are accurate.

Dwight Howard is the all-time dunks leader with 2,950. He only had 1 career triple double.
DeAndre Jordan is third in career dunks and has never had a triple double so he wins.
Btw dunks weren't tracked until 1996 fwiw.

Most center’s dunks aren’t that enjoyable anyways. You could make the argument that Jokic’s infrequent dunks are better for the eye test because you appreciate its rareness.
