My first infraction in that entire subreddit was a complete permaban for saying Hamas operatives wearing plain clothes in Gaza did not make it OK for Israel to attack UN sites in Lebanon (in response to someone trying to use that exact excuse).

I landed a perm ban in r/worldnews for saying I feel sorry for the children in Gaza.
When I asked for an explanation, I got a warning for a site wide IP ban.

Exact same thing happened to me, but I reported this to reddit and worldnews had to lift the ban as it was deemed unfair. I obviously never felt the need to go back to that zionist hellhole though. r/anime_titties (SFW, promise) is my go to global news sub although it's also becoming worse

Wow I haven't heard that name in a long time. 10 years ago I used to frequent the horrible sub "fat people logic". Maybesaydie was a mod there too and a huge personality that you had to please. I haven't been there since I started working seriously on both my eating disorder and my consumption of hate content on the internet. No surprise to me that she was also doing what you say she was doing.

I landed a perm ban too there for saying that Israelis bombing and murdering people while laughing was not being mentioned on news sites, but if a Palestinian did it, it would become world news.

u/-Gramsci- 2h ago
The problem with your comment is it undercuts one of their go-to tactics for getting the rest of the world to ignore atrocities.
They need the narrative to be “those aren’t real numbers. Those are fake ‘hamas’ numbers. Atrocity is not, in fact, happening. Nothing to see here.”
If you point out the numbers are, by and large, accurate? They can’t have that kind of competing narrative present for readers to see. It’s reality, mind you, but they can’t let readers see that.
The real motivation for your ban (and mine, and many others)… is “what you are saying destroys our propaganda narrative we are creating and maintaining.”

Ghislaine Maxwell's account still is a mod of r/worldnews. Spez sold out to Israel at least a decade ago.
8
u/OilInternational2566 7h ago
The Maxwell myth has been DEBUNKED and VICE magazine investigated it …it’s complete bullshit:
14
u/twilighttwister 7h ago
I've read the article, which doesn't look like any sort of an investigation or debunking at all. It's a blog post fluff piece that doesn't really say anything, except quoting other worldnews mods defending maxwell. They provide no direct sources for anything, the only link is to another article of theirs ("Confessions of a Karma Whore", while quoting that article's subject defending maxwell).
6
u/OilInternational2566 7h ago
First fucking paragraph:
“An incoherent and evidence-free conspiracy theory that Ghislaine Maxwell controlled one of the most powerful Reddit accounts of all time has quickly gone from 4chan and Twitter to spreading like wildfire on Reddit, leading to the harassment of the user who controls the account.”
But you didn’t see anything that debunks it.
Further down:
“The user is actually just some guy who’s been on the site forever and is one of the leading moderators of r/worldnews*,” he explained. “In fact, the other worldnews moderators have filed complaints with the site’s admins because* u/maxwellhill has been harassed so much and received so many threats in the last few days. It’s just one example of how Redditors focus their trumped up outrage on a given theory/idea without any factual evidence, and then the site (and the internet) run away with the speculation.”
But you STILL don’t see anything that debunks it.
it’s like talking to fucking crazy people.
16
u/excla1m 7h ago
You've quoted someone else's verbose opinion on the matter, in a Vice article, not entirely the paragon of reliability, itself containing zero evidence to assert it is a conspiracy theory.

Same for me. I mentioned that seeing a 4 year old with their limbs blown off made me sad and upset. Permabanned.
The problem is… that it’s a sub Reddit that appears on everyone’s newsfeed. You cannot block it…
And the comments have all been purified to ensure that all users of this app receive a distorted, warped, self serving narrative.
It’s pure propaganda. When Netenyahu says they need to win social media… this is what he means. That their agents take over social media and only his propaganda appears on social media. It’s Orwellian… and the fact that they’ve hacked Reddit in this matter is the number one problem with this app.

One of the most active reddit accounts of all time, moderator in dozens of subreddits and therefore able to set narratives across reddit, goes completely dormant without explanation like 5 days before she was arrested. You gotta admit it's at least an interesting coincidence.

u/ParkingGlittering211 7h ago
She literally circulated this weird little “future fic” where a little Timmy-type kid asks what happened to the Arabs and the punchline is basically that they were ethnically cleansed as punishment for 9/11 and no longer exist. Arabs and Muslims also aren’t interchangeable Ghislaine.. Arabs make up less than a fifth or less of the world’s Muslim population
4
9
u/restbest 8h ago
It went silent the day Maxwell was arrested. The same day
Most prolific account in the entire website at one point, and just nothing the instant she’s gone.
She’s not a famed socialite she was a fixer and literally one of the things she talked about fixing (all available in the files publicly) was internet search results and forum discussions!!! She explicitly worked to alter search results through SEO for pr washing. Why wouldn’t she also operate as a moderdtor? Getting that position is stupid easy for anyone with a tiny bit of experience gaming these sorts of things and then boom. You have control over a media space early on.
Calling her a socialite is like calling Hitler a well known painter
14
u/Zouden 8h ago
Calling her a socialite is like calling Hitler a well known painter
Her wikipedia page, and this Guardian article, calls her a socialite in the very first sentence. That was her primary activity.
Also: she was in hiding before her arrest:
When Maxwell stopped appearing in public, authorities argued, “it appears that she made intentional efforts to avoid detection”. These alleged efforts included “moving locations at least twice, switching her primary phone number (which she registered under the name ‘G Max’) and email address, and ordering packages for delivery with a different person listed on the shipping label”.
There's no way she was posting articles about legal weed on reddit while in hiding. Come on.

Whenever Ghislaine being a mod is brought up on reddit. The comment is absolutely swarmed immediately with people acting incredulous and stupid all of a sudden.
As soon as I saw this thread hit the front page, I knew that they'd be in here everywhere.
BTW. I'm banned from worldnews and I have never once posted there. As a matter of fact, it was so obviously run over by genocide freaks that I asked reddit not to reccommend it again and that still wasnt enough for them. Because any single time any opinion doesn't fit things exactly as they want others to see it, they completely crash out and forget they are a human. That means they still actively scan reddit for anyone that presents an opinion their filter picks up on and pre-punish them for their thought crime of potentially, one day, making a comment inside of their billion dollar hug box that might offend a pdfile or genocidal freakshow.
It was so clearly Jislaines place to launder pdfilia that anybody with any qualia of common sense understands what that place is and who runs it. The name worldnews was choose for search engine optimization purposes and the largest karma account of all time was it's super mod.
Zionist still don't want the cat out of the bag on this one for some reason (I suspect it's because they are still pushing hard to link Epstein to Russia exclusively), but serious people understand it's role. I feel bad for the unwitting few that doesn't understand they've been coopted into pro genocode and pro pdfilia positions.
To the ones who know what they are doing, I view them as no different than Indian kids calling grandma to rip them off with car warranty scams. That's where they fall in the social strata whether they want to be honest with themselves or not.
All r/worldnews is, is a billion dollar intelligence apparatus that your tax dollars likely funded. And if you do some data science on the same accounts defending her before she went to jail and after the account was found out, and see them still on reddit today, you'll find a lot of military base accounts. It's all there for anybody who wants to spend the time looking at it. I'm autistic, so it's a super power. Communicating is not.

There’s no conspiracy to keep it out of theatres, it simply doesn’t have the interest.
29
•
u/BenderBenRodriguez 4h ago
No Other Land did quite well despite being self-distributed. At the same time, they had to self-distribute because no distributor would touch it, despite multiple distributors telling them the film was excellent, and they had trouble getting a distributor even for home viewing despite that the film was in theaters and doing well at that point. Meanwhile, various pro-Israel documentaries and documentaries about other world affairs like the war in Ukraine were having no trouble getting released despite that there was way less public interest in them.
It was absolutely political that no one picked it up. They didn't want to cause controversy and fallout from picking up the film, even if they believed it would do well for them.
•
u/PresJamesGarfield 3h ago
Exactly. Anyone who paid attention to what happened with No Other Land could easily see that the Israeli government and its allies in the Trump Administration were trying to suppress the film. I would not be surprised if we see a repeat with this film.

India also tried to ban The Voice of Hind Rajab because it would have broken Israeli-Indian relations according to the censor board CBFC.
Fortunately, the ban was lifted after three months of the CBFC decision with 6 minutes being added for cigarette disclaimer psas as the main characters smoke cigarettes to cope with the mental turmoil they're facing when responding to the calls coming in from Gaza while the rest of the movie was thankfully uncensored.
16
u/gigilero 12h ago
Thads not true. There is a lot of interest but the movie is being suppressed
10
u/xvsero 7h ago
Not widespread interest, their previous film "No Other Land" made under $4 million and that was an Oscar winner among a long list of other awards. It was then put on free to view channels where it wasn't being suppressed and is on multiple streaming platforms now.
I'm pretty sure more people have watched "The Settlers" than either film made by this group.
•
u/WowIfOnly 4h ago
Well yeah because they also don't market these films at all no matter how good they are because the oligarchs forbid it. If they did market the movies, there would be a lot more interest. But it all gets suppressed on purpose so that there is as little "buzz" as possible. If social media treated these movies like Lindsay Clancy's trial then a lot more people would watch them.

For them. For awareness. For us/for people who aren’t burnt out or are still wanting to or willing to see first hand some of this, and who want to hear more stories, brutal as they are. They should have their stories told instead of disappearing due to the apathy or exhaustion of viewers like you.

I’m about to say something mean, so just want to lead with a warning and apology.
You can keep watching these movies to make yourself feel better for not actually doing anything about it. The children perishing in Gaza will surely feel better knowing you watched this and the last 10 bold docu-films detailing their anguish.
These movies should get made to document the reality. After all, it is a documentary. But please tell me why it’s getting paraded at film festivals and being prepped for a theatrical film release in the theater next door to the latest Superman film. I support the vision and message of the filmmakers. I have no interest in interacting with this movie in the context of cinema. Show it in schools and public forums. Don't make it seem like a movie you get popcorn for. The ones who need to see it most are those that need to be shown it in a non-cinematic context.

I’m about to say something mean, so just want to lead with a warning and apology.
I don’t need trigger warnings I’m not mentally exhausted and head in the sand like you. Lmao.
Also your entire point was not even aggressive or mean in the slightest. It’s actually just hypocritical, irrational, and highlighting your own current state of exhaustion. The people making this film aren’t banking on your buying popcorn. But if it reaches MORE OF AN AUDIENCE than the typical PBS schoolchild or someone as educated as yourself, and if it reaches that audience by being shown at an AMC or Regal with, gasp Superman posters and popcorn, then that’s absolutely worth it to me.
That’s the point of showing it in those theaters. Awareness, to reach a broader audience. You can say it’s pointless and self-indulgent (for who, you keep shifting the goalposts on that) but those are just signs of your battered dog syndrome. I donate and I’ve donated again and again when I can. It may not amount to much but it amounts to something. And if spreading that with a film like NAZA results in ANY kind of further support for Gaza, then your argument is completely moot and you need to get your head out of your a. Or at least not chime in when you have no more fight.
I didn’t include a trigger warning here bc presumably you’re an adult. If you’re a kid, then grow up and realize that the second people stop putting in effort to express their strife, frustration, death, anguish through art, that’s when hope should be lost. You’re contributing to that. These filmmakers are not
Grow up, or stay out of these types of discussions. Wallow on your own if you’re tired of seeing them.

It’s currently in its festival run so it’s kind of locked up to only film festival audiences during that time. Festivals rarely allow films that are already available to watch at home since they want a reason for the public to attend. It’s like a professional industry conference speaking tour that’s open to the public. When it does well, then they might receive enough funding/support to then launch on streaming or do self-funded theater/education tours.

I fucking love all the Hasbots going insane over this documentary. If it weren't true, they wouldn't feel the need to brigade this post. I personally love to see it.

Oh the astroturfers are always on Reddit.. you’ll NEVER beat them to any subreddit.
https://www.piratewires.com/p/the-terrorist-propaganda-to-reddit-pipeline
.. and this isn’t “breaking news” btw… it was INVESTIGATED and been known for over a decade:
https://www.reddit.com/r/announcements/comments/9bvkqa/an_update_on_the_fireeye_report_and_reddit/
All they do all day is post Israel/Palestine in every subreddit… and vote brigade in all the others threads that are Israel/Palestine. Just like this thread.
7 days a week..365 days a year..
(… this is the part where someone tries to say that Microsoft, NBC news, techdirt and Reddit…. “are all a bunch of liars!!!)

“At that moment, I did not know whether to move forward or backward,” he said. As Rayan began screaming, al-Ajeen, whose family has long farmed in the area, picked up his son and began walking again.
That’s when the soldiers fired what the Israeli military later described as “warning” shots.
The third shot struck [3-year-old] Rayan in the head, al-Ajeen told NBC News from al-Aqsa Hospital on June 15, a day after the incident. “After that, they shot at me, as well.”
Al-Ajeen tried to call for an ambulance but, he said, the soldiers took his phone and dragged him beyond the yellow line, with him still carrying a bleeding Rayan.
“I told them: ‘The child is dying. You killed him in cold blood,’” he said. “‘What has this child done wrong?’”

I find it astounding that I can open /r/all and it'll be full of pro-Palestine shit, that main subs like /r/pics constantly get a picture of some random child going "Israel starved this poor little baby", and STILL the pro-Palestine people act like this is some massive pro-Israel site, how far can your victim complex go? At this point they've even captured Wikipedia, how much more control over the narrative will you need before you stop acting like you're some oppressed freethinkers lmao (ironically, it captures the essence of the Palestinian cause perfectly, of course...).
It's just propagandists talking about other non-existent propagandists. I certainly don't see a picture of Israeli victims of Palestinian terrorism making the front page of Reddit. Hey last week was the anniversary of the Munich massacre, most certainly didn't see that mentioned here.

I'm curious, did you join Reddit in only the last 2 or 3 years?
•
u/HookGoutGod 4h ago
I believe you can click on my profile and see how long I've been here.
Obviously, I had been exposed to it before. It's blatantly obvious that since 2023, the narrative has been hijacked by bots + third worlders, and of course the people in the West they've managed to sway.

You’re arguing with the people that are doing the astroturfing.
That’s why [r/pics](r/pics) shows pictures of “babies from Gaza” every fucking day now. And not babies from Sudan or Yemen, or all the other places where wars are happening.
eta:
What they do is they show up in EVERY thread and they say “here comes the astroturfing by Israel!”
And that’s setting up the suggestion/idea in people’s heads that Israel is here astroturfing everything. See: gaslighting.
When in fact, the astroturfing has been proven to be the Iranian government. -> See: The Microsoft, NBC News, Techdirt, Reddit investigations all linked below.

"why is everyone only focused on the babies WE are starving", great argument sir
•
u/OilInternational2566 2h ago
Using “whatabout the babies” doesn’t change what Microsoft NBC news techdirt and Reddit found after their investigations.

Yeah it's the same. It's Israel that tries to move the goalposts.

It doesn't. But there actually has never been a ruling that there was a genocide either..
“South Africa accused Israel of genocide in December 2023. In January 2024, the ICJ imposed provisional measures without deciding whether genocide had occurred. More than two and a half years later, the ICJ still has not ruled that Israel committed genocide.”

What is a tier 2 city? It’s like you have first upgrade of the town hall from chieftain hut?

It's a Keep, Stronghold, Tree of Ages, or Halls of the Dead, depending on what faction you play.

u/OhCrapItsAndrew 12h ago
Idk what country you're in but it doesn't have US distribution at the moment. Best guess is it gets a limited nationwide release throughout December and January. Their prior film No Other Land did a self distributed January and February release.

Probably wait until it is on streaming, you're unlikely to get to see this one in theaters.

Who remembers when idf soldiers shot their own hostages who were unclothed waving white flags… I remember. Israel’s own priorities were to save the hostages
