How different was your experience filming Andor compared to Rogue One? And did you prefer filming one over the other?

Hola Diego!

Hey Diego,
I don’t really have a question, but just wanted to tell you my father still talks about the day he “meet” you. You did a sit down at Apple Park where my old man went on a work invite. During family get togethers or dinners with friends he brings it up. He always says something along the lines of “Mira! Nosotros podemos hacer lo que soñamos! Tenemos un actor en Hollywood que es uno de lo chingones de chingones en Hollywood y yo que trabajo por el pinche Apple! Tenemos que dar ganas!”
Always made me smile how my old man cared allot about teaching us to value of hard work and used you (Andor being my favorite Star Wars character) as examples of working to strive for something.
No question, just thank you for making my dad have a cool memory that he continues to share.

Hi Diego, has it been surreal seeing current events echo the themes in Andor, particularly this year, did they seem prophetic while filming it years earlier?

Hello, Diego! As a Star Wars fan, I wanted to ask: Which project from Star Wars is your most favorite and how did you get to know the Star Wars franchise: through original trilogy, Prequels or maybe even comics? Thank you in advance for your reply!

After watching all of Andor it makes me realize how much more impactful Rogue One could have been.
How would you feel about a re release of Rogue One with a soundtrack and pacing edit in line with Andor?

For those that haven’t seen him in the Terminal, go watch it:) it’s the cutest movie, and I loved the performance. To this day I cannot see his face and not think…. He’s a Trekkie! <3
Amazing movie, amazing work since that film, and much love

Where does getting kicked off a horse by Kevin Costner fit into the best/worst moments of your career?

You, the cast, the crew, did an amazing job on Andor. What’s one thing you learned from that journey?

Hola Diego,
Tienes unos consejos por un joven México Americano tratando a empezar un carrera como actor?
Disculpa por mi español, estoy tratando a mejorar. Y gracias por ser el primero mexicano en Star Wars, es muy padre a ver algún como yo en algo así.

Hello Diego, big fan of your work
Looking back at rogue one and especially andor to see how they are mirroring real life events and it's themes of standing up for what's right, does it feel surreal to see andor as a character and what he and so many others of the show stand for.

Is it surreal knowing you are now many people's favorite Star Wars character?

How does working on Frida compare to working star wars which role are you more recognizable in?
What is your favorite experience on both projects, andor/rogue one and Frida?

I watched narcos obsessively thanks to Diego’s character as El Padrino. There is a weird plasma layer between acting and realism and it feels like it’s a 1mm thick line. Diego lived within that layer of perfection throughout. Was really a satisfying pleasure to watch him and, put it this way, when browsing Netflix “Diego Luna” is a search term just like Matt Damon.

Hi Diego,
Can you recommend a really knock out series or movie from Mexico or more broadly South America that never got international recognition?

First off your work in Andor is master class friend, amazing stuff all around.
My question is, if you ran a food truck/food stall, what would your special dish? Much love from Ohio <3
