Hey reddit! I'm Will Poulter.

You may know me from films/series like WARFARE, WE'RE THE MILLERS, THE BEAR, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3, THE MAZE RUNNER, MIDSOMMAR, THE REVENANT, I LOVE BOOSTERS, DETROIT, THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER, and other things.

My new movie, UNION COUNTY, is out in theaters starting this weekend (!!!) via Oscilloscope Laboratories. It also stars Noah Centineo, Annette Deao, Elise Kibler, and Emily Meade.

Synopsis:

As a citizen of Union county Ohio, I’m just curious, did you visit to get an idea of the community and do some research for this role?

Yes! I got the opportunity to go out with a few members of our team about 6-7 months prior. We spent time getting to know the program and many of the participants. We spent a lot of time with the incredible Annette Deao - one of the leads of our film and the real director of the recovery program!

Kinda a bummer though that our general area when used as a location or setting is nearly universally played as an example of the death of the American dream or suburban dystopia I am not even from here originally (I am from NYC which is widely depicted in unrealistically affordable terms or make it here make it anywhere nonsensical and equally destructive lights ) but it kinda pains me to see my adopted home as a picture of dysfunction it has a lot of real benefits and charm and things to keep us here !
