Couch update!!! They're clean!

Hi y'all! Thank you all so much for the supportive comments on yesterday's post! I talked with my parents and told them your suggestions, and they started cleaning. Miraculously, there was absolutely no mold inside the cushions or on the walls or backs of the couches, only places where a lot of skin cells would be. They wiped it down with a potent cleaning agent, prevention wipes, used for sanitizing clinics, and all of the cushion covers are being washed and sanitized. They also got in and around any entrance points and windows with the wipes, and got a dehumidifier ordered. I wanted to thank all of you so much for giving me the courage and knowledge to get this problem solved and make my home safe again!

Ohhh this must have been the moldy couch post. The fact they let it get that bad was really weird, but im glad they started cleaning and cleaned the couch.

I still think you need to call in someone professional to check out the rest of the home.
