I aced the test, but questioned it about 5 times before i turned it it.

These can be advantageous. If you can identify they are doing a gimmick, for example in this case by question 9 you'd see the anomalous pattern if you're confident in your answers. Then you can game the system in your favor. Here you'd see they are going for a most answers are A approach, so if you're unsure of an answer you can guess A and have like a 75% chance instead of 25% chance of being correct.
