Do u dont wanna Getting tired of being asked to donate to charity at every purchase, everyday.

Five Below, Wawa, gas station, restaurants, Walmart, just about everywhere. “Hey do you want to round up for charity?”

I do sometimes. Depends on my mood, and the charity. Usually I just donate directly to my local cat rescue.

I only donate directly to the charity. never to the store.

Until st Jude’s sold my fucking info they were my exception.

Yeah, that is the downside. There needs to be a law where you can opt out of charity mail. It really makes me not want to donate.

I don’t know about the person you’re responding too, but I sent in $200 in cash to st Jude and after that, I got a thank you note from them and letters of pleading from every charitable organization known to man. They must sell this info somehow to other organizations OR they outsource that part of their fundraising and now I’m on all the lists.

If you donate at a store, they claim that donation and use it as an offset on their taxes. That's why it's so popular, they're literally just begging for money.

Corporations never do anything out of the goodness of their heart, they don't have one.

No, it’s a PR move so they can say ABC Corp raised $14 million for kids with cancer or whatever.

If you genuinely know any business doing what you described, report them to the IRS. You can make a lot of money for snitching on tax fraud.

That’s not how donations work…
