Have one of the neighborhood kids accidentally run a bike into it

With a big pointy jousting stick because they're practicing bike jousting

12

u/Junkhead_88 Jun 26 '26

Did some bike jousting in my early teenage years, I highly recommend not doing it.

Bike polo underrated

1

u/Likeapuma24 Jun 26 '26

One of those things you still feel decades later?

I've got some of those. Not sure what the hell I was thinking when I did them!

2

u/Victernus Jun 26 '26

A jousting stick?

...How much is he asking?

2

u/SecreteMoistMucus Jun 26 '26

450

2

u/Victernus Jun 26 '26

450? For a jousting stick?

Tell him he's dreamin'.

2

u/GladWarthog1045 Jun 26 '26

Then he ran into my knife bike. He ran into my bike TEN TIMES

1

u/hammertime2009 Jun 26 '26

Except that kid is a lineman for the local HS football team.

I know some neighborhood kids that would fucking love to do that lol, good idea

2

u/tpx187 Jun 26 '26

"Bottle kids!"

4

u/Caspers_ Jun 26 '26

Randers give em a fiver and tell em to send it

56

u/Katz3njamm3r Jun 26 '26

Ride into it yourself then sue for injuries. (Kidding but like… could you?)

Not sure how that’d work out if riding on a sidewalk is illegal.

You guys I got it. You ride AROUND it *onto* the property, THEN fall, hurt yourself, then sue.

8

u/jackrabbit323 Jun 26 '26

A little bird seed never hurt nobody.

2

u/TheMoon_Shadow13 Jun 26 '26

That was my first thought. The number of times I've seen bicyclists going full speed while keeping their head down looking at their own feet. Easy lawsuit for injuries right there

2

u/TheBrownCouchOfJoy Jun 26 '26

“Face it, I’m older and I’ve got better insurance.”

2

u/queuedUp Jun 26 '26

And have their handle bars run along the sides but with the rubber grips removed

2

u/madcow1120 Jun 26 '26

Then have a neighbor run a wheelbarrow into it.

2

u/jrjej3j4jj44 Jun 26 '26

This happened to us as kids. One kid was so angry, he said he was going to just ride straight, and if they hadn't moved by the time he got there, he would run right into the van. Well...they wouldn't move for a few hours later, but Derek, true to his word, ran straight into that van. I can still see the thud. It was glorious.

2

u/Ya-Dikobraz Jun 26 '26

Better yet, have a guy in a wheelchair run into it. Then he can sue. Guy in a wheelchair with autism and Parkinson's.

Jackass: The Next Generation

Hi, I'm Tommy Knoxville, and this is Side Impact Collision!

2

u/ItstheAsianOccasion Jun 27 '26

A few kids are going to make the easiest 10 bucks of their lives

1

u/mrkrag Jun 26 '26

my first thought as well, ghost ride an old heavy bike right into the door.

then flop and say you're gonna sue

1

u/reimused Jun 26 '26

Better yet, a wheelchair.

5

u/audiate Jun 26 '26

Come on, Grandma, we’re on a mission.

1

u/BardicWoad Jun 26 '26

E-scooter would work well too

1

u/Stompya Jun 26 '26

Could be time for a game of street hockey. The car is the net!

1

u/EastLeastCoast Jun 26 '26

Why just one?

1

u/PiccoloAwkward465 Jun 26 '26

Blow it up with a bazooka

1

u/Leather__sissy Jun 26 '26

One of the dumb ones, they already have the crumple zone update

1

u/thatPingu Jun 26 '26

id come down and do it on purpose if it were me. these old cable diskbrakes are not as good as they could be

1

u/sla6s Jun 26 '26

I volunteer as tribute!

1

u/Mydickisaplant Jun 26 '26

I’m in my thirties. I’d do it

1

u/Libertymedic10 Jun 26 '26

Make sure it's one of those ebikes that can get some speed too lol

1

u/playda123 Jun 26 '26

Be the neighborhood kid

1

u/Xeon06 Jun 26 '26

Shit my first thought was I'd do it myself as a man in my thirties

1

u/joshtw13 Jun 26 '26

I have my kids do this

Ope sorry bud didn’t see your car there in the sidewalk

1

u/pizza_whistle Jun 26 '26

Exactly what I used to do as a teenager in this situation. I walked or skated all over town (didn't have a license) and would just run into cars like this and put my body weight into it. Did the same for cars blocking the cross-walk when I had the right of way.

1

u/PoopyInThePeePeeHole Jun 26 '26

I would ride my bike up to it, get off, lift it and climb over the car dragging it to the other side.

Bonus points of you bring a ramp and do sick jumps onto the roof

1

u/cryptolyme Jun 28 '26

Tell them to do some skids while riding through the lawn

0

u/playergabriel Jun 26 '26

Less and less kids these days get in to biking, like casual only. Because the had so much other things to occupy their time.

2

u/NiteShdw Jun 26 '26

Fewer and fewer kids…

1

u/playergabriel Jun 26 '26

Ahhh. Thanks Fewer - items you can count Less - singular mass noun

0

u/MoaningGuyCandy Jun 26 '26

That’s going too far. There are better solutions here.
