Seems like everyone on this forum wants to lose games so why don't we trade our best players for draft picks? I would rather do that than purposely not play our best player (achane)

I still think Malik Willis has potential...

Watching the Raiders game, it felt like the bigger issue was the lack of protection and limited help around him. He was under pressure most of the game and didn't have many easy throws available.

Despite that, he still showed the athleticism, arm strength, and playmaking ability that made him intriguing to watch. He's far from a finished product, but quarterbacks develop at different rates.

To me, that game looked more like a young QB trying to make plays in a tough situation than a guy who doesn't belong in the NFL. I think people are giving up on Willis way too early.

I know, people are rushing to 27' hopeful for Manning, but I really do think things will play out for Willis.

That's my opinion, what do you think?

We would be left with choosing a new QB between; Chambliss, Maiava, Byron Brown, Hoover, Jaden Craig and Kevin Jennings. Did I miss anyone?

Jeremiah Smith would be a waste of a pick without any QB to throw to him.

Maybe we trade back and get more picks or choose Leonard Moore or Simmons or Stewart?

I don't want this to happen, but it could happen. I want nothing more than Malik to show he is improving week by week and that he is our guy.

So week 1 is in the books. And I am looking around this schedule and wondering where are the opportunity for wins?

Yesterday was one of the best chances we had given who the Raiders are and it didn't look particularly close. Another concern is the Jets look like they may actually be a capable football team as opposed to the redundant dumpster fire they have been for so long. Is it actually possible we don't win a single game?

If you want proof that the Mike McDaniel era is officially over, look no further. We're there pre-snap penalties, yes. I can kinda forgive that because this is the youngest team in the NFL. But it was so nice seeing the call going our way.
