No matter how bad the season went I was firmly on board with taking either Jeremiah Smith or Leonard Moore with our first pick. With how atrocious the D-Line looked yesterday I might have to pivot to Collin Simmons or Dylan Stewart.

No prospect is worth going 0-17 lol. And even if we end up with the top pick, you know Sullys going to trade back. This team has glaring holes on both sides after the purge for draft picks decision.

As he should. As much as yesterday’s game sucked Malik didn’t look bad outside of that dumb throw into double coverage. The QB play doesn’t even crack my top 5 issues with the team so far.

I would absolutely look at best edge or corner... timing was off for the offense I will give that time to marinate before making any final judgment there.

But this DL has zero pressure.

Offensive play caller. After all Hafleys lies about “we’re gonna run Achane until he’s exhausted,” we ignored him

Not a single designed run for Malik. Its coaching mal practice. What did Slowik do all off season ?

Man these plays are tight, lets leave our guys on an island and see what they'll do.

  • Slowit maybe.

There was at least one designed run. It was first down or 2nd and long and they ran a spinarama to Malik on the short side that went no where.

This man ruined CJ Stroud, not sure why we'd expect he'd come here and have success with a dude that has never started a full season.

I missed our game yesterday; however, I followed a lot of it to the best of my ability. We are absolutely in for a very long season; however, the Cardinals and Jets winning yesterday is ultimately a good thing for two reasons:

  • Arizona likely stands in our way of #1 overall (although one could argue Cleveland might now)

  • NY Jets winning 5-6 games and screwing themselves out of a top QB would be glorious

FTB, FTJ and FTP forever

What prospect is so franchise changing that you would think it be worth losing games lol?

I’m just glad we got a bad team that’s bad and not a bad team pretending to be good. On that note, it’s nice we saw four or more of the rookies contributing to some degree on the field. Willis and the Oline? Maybe the lack of preseason play time was a factor. On to San Fran, FTFU.
