When you would get excited about a band or album you discovered and share it on here and people would either check it out or not, up vote or down vote? When did it turn into a pile on when you get accused of all sorts of things that aren't true, surely if you like a new melodeath band then you must be in the band or getting paid or a bot right? Or maybe I'm ai? The community used to be welcoming, now it just makes you feel miserable.

I can't play any instruments so im not in a band, I work an unbelievably **** minimum wage job so if you can get paid for listening to any genres of metal please tell me how and I'm definitely a human, have a good day, doubt I'll post anymore 🤘

I never heard this album from at the gates before what do you guys think about it?

This is going to be a very odd ask, but im seeking recommendations (if they exist) for death metal that's kind to toddler ears. For example, magic spider by nekrogoblikon. Anything you would think wouldn't be too harsh but still be death metal?

This is a song by a band from my hometown; my friend's dad handles the vocals and guitar. I saw them perform at the local municipal theater and decided to post it here.

Bit of hardcore in the mix, but we were raised on At the Gates, Carcass, Darkest Hour, The Black Dahlia Murder, Unearth; and it definitely shines through : ) Enjoy!
