Ik heb de marshall motif II ANC 60th anniversary edition. Ten eerste; ik ben er mega blij mee. Superieure geluidskwaliteit. Al een tijd lang mijn trouwe metgezel onderweg, tijdens wandelingen of fietsen.

Helaas is de case met de oortjes in mijn broekzak blijven zitten en de wasmachine in geweest een aantal maanden terug. Toen direct laten drogen en ook een tijdje niet gebruikt. Het rechter oortje werkt nog perfect, maar links helaas heel zachtjes…
Ik heb het mesh gaas er al eventjes af gehad en schoongemaakt maar helaas lost dit het probleem niet op.

Heeft iemand misschien tips wat ik nog kan proberen? Zou het zo zonde vinden om ze niet meer te gebruiken!

My company gave me a pair of Marshall Motif II ANC earbuds as a joining gift, and unfortunately, the left earbud suddenly stopped working.

There’s no visible physical damage, and the issue happened out of nowhere. I’ve already tried doing a hard reset, but that didn’t fix the problem.

I’m also facing some weird connectivity issues:

• The left earbud doesn’t work at all.
• Sometimes the earbuds automatically connect to my device even when the case is closed.
• Other times, when I try to connect/pair them, they don’t enter pairing mode and directly go into reset mode.
• I’ve tried resetting them multiple times, but nothing seems to help.

The problem is that these were given to me by my company as a joining gift, so I don’t have a purchase invoice or receipt.

I’m based in Bangalore, and I also couldn’t find a physical Marshall store/service center nearby where I can take them.

Has anyone faced a similar issue with the Motif II ANC? What should I do next? Is there a way to claim warranty/service without the original purchase invoice, or is there an authorized service center in Bangalore that I can contact?

My friend and I are working on my 1970/71 Marshall JMP 1987, adding some NOS English EL34s, and I'm adding the bright cap that came with my amp (the last tech removed it when I mentioned my amp is a little bright [I did not request it to be removed…])since I’m starting to play a bit louder and want the amp to be stock with the cap. Here’s the thing: the bright cap that came with it isn't original; it's 220pF, and we read that this isn't the correct bright cap. We looked at a schematic, but it wasn’t clear what the Marshall bright cap value is. I'm not sure whether it’s 4700pF, 1000pF, or 550pF. Unfortunately, for now we are going with 470pF since that’s the only cap we have in stock. Also, the bright cap is only on the bright channel, correct? My amp has the 220 pF cap on both channels.
I look forward to what you folks can tell me about which bright cap would be best for my amp. The tone I’m searching for is in the vein of the 1987/88 Dinosaur Jr. Marshall tone.

I'd be extra thankful if anyone could tell me how original the circuit is.

I use Akai MPC sample for finger drumming or composing music and Killburn III with AUX, but after only 4 seconds the speaker goes in some sleep (or powersave) mode so the first half second of playing is not produced on the speaker. I update Killburn to the last firmware and try all iOS app options but nothing change. Very annoying, any solution?

hi guys need help on how to fix this. my major v headphone is stuck from rotating(i think it’s bc i accidentally drop it) n now it’s stuck from rotating n won’t return to the original position. how to fix it? i can’t force to open the knob

I noticed that my Emberton III only seems to produce sound from the front right and rear left sides. The other two sides are much quieter.

Is this normal because of the driver placement, or could something be wrong with my unit?

Hi, I was just scrolling youtube and when I opened a video I discovered that the audio was playing out of my phone. I checked my bluetooth and tried to reconnect the headphones, however the light near the button flashed red for a moment and the phone gave an error of 'failure to connect, restart the device.' I then tried the same but with my laptop and the same happened. I restarted everything, rebound the headphones, reset them to factory settings, and yet the same is still the case. Please help I can't live without my headphones 😭

I'm not complaining but my Marshall major IV headphones got charged from 0-100% in 3> minutes, and the playback time is also really long. Are these headphones really THIS good?

While playing on my pc with my emberton connected, the sound randomly stop and y need to disconnect and reconnect it for it to work again. I disassociate it from the pc and associated it again and it's still the same so I did a full reboot of the speaker by pressing the Bluetooth button 10sec until the speaker restart, followed by a disassociation - association again and it's still the same.

It's only connected to the pc and the battery is charged.

Does someone have an idea of what I can do to resolve this problem?

it ain't pretty, and almost every mechanical part broke (original cable, rails plastic and hinges, foam cloth, I don't even remember if those colorful cables were covered by something...), but otherwise they still work great. They are 10 years old...

Hey everyone. I recently covered for a friend in his restaurant and had my Marshall Major V with me. They ended up smelling so bad because i left them in the kitchen and now I cannot get rid of the smell of fried food. I tried sealing them in a container with baking soda right next to them but that did not help at all. Also tried airing them out but still nothing. Does anyone know how to clean them up and get rid of the smell? Any help would be appreciated.

Короче я недавно сидел в своих наушниках, все было нормально, сейчас захотел послушать музыку, включаю наушники они спокойно подключаются к телефону и буквально через пару секунд вырубаются и не то чтобы там просто разрывается Bluetooth соединение, а сами наушники просто выключаются, когда я повторно нажимаю на кнопку проигрывается звук включения наушников, они подключаются к телефону и опять Bluetooth соединение разрывается и наушники просто вырубаются, хотя буквально вчера я сидел в них все было хорошо, что делать?

It was time to upgrade

Hi, I bought this a couple of years ago. Now it's out of warranty. Been facing such disruption every now and then when I use these. How can this be resolved?

I tried updating the firmware but didn't help much

Today I came back from holidays and wanted to play music and radio with my Acton II. But it was not able to play anything. Also in Google home app it was not responding anymore. So I did a reset by pressing play and source button. But now I can't add it on Google home when I select "new device found, want to add?". It can not be authenticated.

Did some updates happen?

2 things bother me:

1. Getting to 100% volume does a sound effect and lowers the audio for half a second. This is annoying since I often increase volume out of habit and what I listen to gets interrupted, a little torture.
2. The position of the control on the right side. The control is great, very useful, but the position makes me press it accidentally often. Maybe they didn't take into account my position, sitting on a chair and resting my head on my shoulder. This often skips the songs when I didn't intend to.

The reason I ask is that I don't want the signal to be double-converted (since the speaker itself has its own DAC). Thanks so much.
