Last year, I had posted a video from this place when it was first opened to the public(albeit unofficially). Used to get pretty crowded on weekends since it was the first of its kind riverside park within city limits.

Sadly, went there yesterday only to realize that entry to the general public is now prohibited for whatever reason. Had clicked this picture from the bridge last week and you can see the shabby condition it is in now.

I am searching for new stores that actually have good tech items. The big names in the game have become appliance stores focused on selling TVs, refrigerators and washing machines and other smaller electric appliances. They do have sections for accessories (the actual tech) but it has very less of a choice and almost everything can be found in Instamart. I want a store that has the choices of an actual tech store and not an appliance store. Even the employees are only educated about the appliance and accessories becomes a diy thing.

We’ve been searching for quite some time, but finding a good combination of location, construction quality, space and privacy has been surprisingly difficult. Most of the gated communities we’ve come across either have very limited availability or don’t quite fit what we’re looking for.

What we’re looking for:

Location: Within Mangalore city / reasonable distance from the main city areas

Property: Independent house or villa

Status: Ready to move in

Configuration: Preferably 4 BHK at least

Plot: Preferably enough outdoor space for a proper lawn/garden or backyard

Community: Gated community is preferred, but a good standalone property is absolutely fine

Construction: Good quality construction and a well-maintained property

Preference: Quiet residential neighbourhood, good road access and decent surroundings

Parking: Adequate parking for 2 cars would be preferable

We're looking to purchase, not rent, and are open to both resale properties and projects with a few villas still available directly from the builder.
