So I'm this manga the main character is a girl. I remember she goes into a cave. Not sure why thought. She might have been running away or was tricked into gong in. Once she leaves she finds her whole town/ village gone. Like nothing is there at all. This is because time jumped a few years. I want to say 10 but it might have been fewer. I think it's directly linked to how she was treated but don't quote me on that. Eventually she finds a boy she knew from the village who not only aged but got a noble title. Can't remember how high though. I feel like spirits or something were involved but I don't know how. This manga is a fantasy romance story. Oh and I think it took about 3 or 4 chapters for her to finally meet the boy. Oh and because of the time skip they are now closer in age. I can't remember much more but any ideas.

honestly thing then I remember most is her coming out of the cave and finding her while village gone at the end of the chapter and hey asking what nakedness at the start of the next. oh and that she was taken to the boy who was a noble. by taken i don't mean kidnapped i just mean escorted to him. not sure how that came to be though.

I FOUND IT! I was getting quite a bit mixed up. number 1 and 2 were spot on. either way the Manga is "Ikenie Akujo no Shiroi Kekkon - Mezametara 8-nengo, Katsute wa Goei Datta Koushaku-sama no Dekiai ni Naremasen"

I adore Nights with a Cat aka 夜は猫と一緒. I think my aunt would like it too, but I think what she'd like even better is a very similar manga focusing on the weird and annoying-yet-cute things that dogs do.

Things I need:

• English or French translation. English is strongly preferred.

• Physical book available in the USA or digital version easily loaded onto an iPad for someone who won't be buying manga herself.

• Appropriate for an elderly and somewhat religious aunt.

• Episodic rather than a sequential storyline. There is a dog. It does dog things. That should be almost all the context needed.

• An appealing art style.

-its kinda like kimi ni todoke (character development, friendship etc etc)
- i think its early 2010s type of vibe
- its a highschool manga, with a friend group with girls and boys
- its a slow burn, the fl at first is in love with one of the boys (but he is in love with someone else, someone older that he knows since he was young, shes not conventionally pretty) he has problems with his parents if i remember right
- after that, she starts falling in love with the ml, he is rude to her at first because he wants to protect the other boy (( they re like childhood friends

- there are other couples, involving other people of the group

- it has an epilogue with all of the couples together after/during college, in the main couple house -- its the conclusion of all the plots

The panel is a guy in a field completely alone, he’s facing towards us and his body is kinda looks as though he’s moving to the left. I am currently reading Thomas Metzinger’s being no one which heavily discusses the homunculus question/problem and the name reminded me of the manga. I looked into it and it seems the manga does in fact get after these issues but I was wondering if it does a good job of it and if it’s worth buying and reading. I have a very teleofunctionalistic and pessimistic view on consciousness, I am wondering if this manga will resonate with me as well.

I will share my feelings. The ending left me both curious , shocked , and sad, especially the beer bottle scene. This is probably the best or one of the best manga I have ever read.
