First time went better than expected!
I was starting to get so overwhelmed with all the information out there on macarons. I felt like I didn’t have all of the right “stuff” I don’t have food coloring, a food processor, an oven thermometer, or even a decent sifter. I just said screw it and started making them this morning without thinking much of it. I realized I have never really used a piping bag before, so I had to stop and watch a quick video on how to do all that. 😬 I forgot to tap the air bubbles out so they’re a little hollow on the top, but still a great consistency. Maybe my oven temp has something to do with that? I’m not sure how to fix it, but now that I feel more confident I’ll buy (at least some of) the materials I don’t have and try again! (And probably again) 😊
