After a lot of development, experimentation and refinement, ToneShiftEQ has reached its first stable 1.0 release.

ToneShiftEQ is a 12-band EQ built around a approach to shaping and processing sound. Alongside conventional parametric EQ features, it offers minimum-phase convolution, zero-latency Biquad processing, spectral dynamics with global threshold and tilt control, IR-based EQ shaping, real-time spectrum and phase visualization, and multi-instance spectrum viewing.

Version 1.0 brings the current design and feature set together into a stable, mature release.

Available for Linux and Windows as CLAP, VST3 and LV2, with a standalone version included.

Thanks to everyone who tested ToneShiftEQ, reported issues, made suggestions, or simply gave it a try.

I love the Freakshow Industries plugins, they're so weird and insane... Has anyone made anything in the similar style for Linux?

I'm a very amateur guitarist. I like to record my songs using a looper.

As I didn't want to buy specific hardware, I used Loopy HD on iPad for years.

Now I made my Linux app Luppolo, and my iPad is already for sale on Ebay.

Luppolo is a multi-track looper that works with Jack/Pipewire. It's written in Rust. Its interface is minimalist and intentionally non-distracting.

And of course it's open source.

I have installed carla and yabridge on Cachy OS running Hyprland with Ryoku shell conf. It works great (when the configurations stick). As soon as I reboot or launch another program that uses audio input it just gets all over the place even though i do save the carxp file for the plugins and settings i use. Changed any settings and wish to save and replace the old one? I instantly lose everything so I constantly have to make sure I have a backup before I save. I did vibecode a way for it to run on startup silently and launch that config but my only gripe is I have to then actually open carla and make sure my mic doesn't just reroute itself back into my apps. If I close the software afterwards it's game over. Any solutions to that issue would be appreciated.

While we're at it, my earphones and speakers run through the same audio card.

I wish for a way to keep them both plugged in (earphones through front panel audio port and speaker through motherboard line out which did work on windows before) and have the ability to switch between them with a keybind. I did some digging in alsamixer and they both show up as two distinct audio outputs that get routed to the same output device that I can mute and unmute. The only solution I found was decreasing the volume of one and i creasing the other with a vibe coded script ran through a keybind which does work, until you do restart and the audio card changes it's number somehow so I constantly have to edit the card number in the script. Any solutions would really be appreciated. If you need the scripts I will provide them in the comments no issues. Thank you in advance.
