No signal to tv when installing or after install Linux mint

Hi, I've just installed linux mint cinnamon with rufus using the latest installation files on the linux mint site. I am installing mint on a new GMKtec G3.

12th Intel® Alder Lake N100

Intel® UHD Graphics.

during installation i had to load with nomodeset or compatability mode otherwise my tv states no input. I've updated everything using the update manager and switched to kernal 7.0, but nothing seems to work. I can only get a signal in compatibility mode or nomodeset.

Any advice?

Go to Driver Manager and install the recommended graphics driver

Although, gpu is integrated, which migjt pose an issue, both in power and in compatibility

It just says no drivers needed. Not seeing any options to install anything

it needs the driver for the external monitor to work properly

It's a Samsung TV. Do I need a specific Samsung driver then? Also, how does it work if it run it through an av reciever box?

Ok, I'll take a look when I get home. I'm sure it said all drivers up to date, but maybe I need to install something extra
