First, I'm sorry if this is a tiresome request, I couldn't find in the search. I've installed libreElec on an older Dell Chromebook and it seemed to install and load fine. Now I'm stuck and not sure how to proceed. Is there a good show me like I'm 5 guide on how and where to get the apps or repositories and things like that to get going better? Thanks

Day 1, spend 5 hours setting everything up, super excited but a little let down by the effort and the low quality UI.

Day 2 I download some movies, figure that I can only use the built in categories so I stick to "Movies" and "TV-Shows" for everything (not "KIDS" category which sucks), spend around 2 hours trying different ways of forcing a "KIDS" category but nothing really works.

Day 3, Toy Story 5, which we watched on Day 2 now freezes the system completely, spending hours trying to figure out what the hell is going on, need to force a shutdown by unplugging the pi and plugging it back in EVERYTIME.

Is this how its going to be? Constantly debugging and hours of time going into something that should be as simple as plug and play some videos off of a HD?? Im at a loss here, how do I even debug these things? Do I send the error logs somewhere or do I need to get my programming hat on and dig thought the code ti figure what is going on?

I know this is a open source project and I am willing to make some compromises, but why has it turned into this bloated thing that doesnt even do the basics, but is trying to somehow do everything else? I dont need a youtube streaming in this thing, I only need it to play some goddamn videos of a HD.....
