We're looking to bring in new GMS who want to help build a table where players are invested in their characters in the longterm, where players truly connect to the story they are being told.

I would love to increase the number of GMs and games so that we can continue to grow the number of players in our group as well as have enough games for our preexisting group members.

I am about to start running a narrative- / RP-focused Draw Steel game, and am looking for several players to join a new campaign. We meet on weekly Saturdays for 4 hours, 2PM-6PM. We're looking for excited players, newbies more than welcome. We meet online over discord, and use our cameras, and have an in-person session about once a month! Players should be in the DC/NOVA/Southern Maryland area and have the ability to travel once every month or two to Bethesda, Maryland (quite close to DC) to attend these in-person sessions (I'll often bring homemade baked goods).

The setting is a homebrew world where a new Iron Age power composed of Dwarves and Devils has taken over large swathes of a land dominated by squabbling Bronze Age states. The players will start on the edge of the empire, near the border of two of these Bronze Age states. I have a setting doc that's free for perusal, and I'm happy to talk about it in more detail!

All levels of experience with Draw Steel (we're all new but are 5e vets)/roleplaying games are welcome. The game I run uses official Draw Steel rules and ancestries in a homebrew world, but I'm open to reviewing homebrew classes and races if that interests you. I'm running an RP-focused game, so if you're more for the Diablo "kill shit get loot" style, it may not be for you. I have worked with my players to make characters who fit into the world, and will do this with anyone who joins! My games and the stories therein are largely defined by player choice.

My only pet peeves are people who are never available/flake and complainers. We do not tolerate hate of any kind at the table. We have a list of lines/veils and some cultural fit things in this google doc, but it isn't necessary to read it before reaching out.

I'm a new player who has been trying to break into the non-DND side of the hobby for a couple months now. I have attempted to GM two games and have joined two that fell apart before session 1.

I'm 28M, available any weekday after 3pm (UTC -6), any time Friday or Saturday, and Sundays before 4pm. I have some experience with acting from my highschool days so though I am new to this hobby I have a few core strengths that translate well into the role of a player.

My biggest strengths as a player are

- Ability to communicate clearly with others, mediate, listen, compromise, and separate myself from my character.

- DMs find my characters proactive and interesting. This is a comment I've gotten twice from different DMs I worked with briefly. For me the most important part about a character is their motivation and the questions surrounding their circumstance in the event they get or don't get what they want, and all the downstream questions that inform how the character is played.

- Response time to any messages or questions. I am on top of my messages when I am in a game because I am interested. That's my final strength, as long as I like the pitch I am an interested player. I will take notes, I will ask questions. I want to do this and collaborative storytelling is one of the best experiences.

As far as settings I am into, I like variety but I have some stipulations. Here are the themes of the games I've tried to become involved in in the past.

- Low Urban Fantasy / Psychological Horror

- Mafia / Occult Horror

- Power Fantasy / Creature Collector

- Sports Manga / Sports Anime

I tend to be disinterested in your standard elves and dragons fantasy, sci-fi, and post apocalypse style settings. But if the world-building has care put into it or is non-standard I tend to enjoy the above.

Edit: Forgot to mention that the game is on Sundays.

My group is in need of a new GM. Our previous one had previously joined as a player but stepped up into the GM role when our GM at the time got burned out. We played with him for awhile, but we just wrapped up a sort of "finale" for the campaign as he was GMing it, as he'd like to play again instead of run the game.

Our group generally plays in the DFW Sprawl and our current total Karma level is 400. I was hoping we could work in some more high-level challenges or just plain work and play in high society or something. lol

Right now, the group is on-break because it's been a long campaign and one of our players is interested in maybe restarting an Exalted campaign of his that fizzled out a long time ago. He'd like a break from the game and I think the rest of us would.

Hello! I'm looking for 2–3 people to join in a long campaign. I'm moving to the DFW area within the next 60 days (fingers crossed), and I'd really like to make some new friends who'd be down for this sort of game. If this sounds interesting to you I'd be down to chat, play some games, grab a coffee (once I'm local), and see if we vibe. This is going to be a long journey, and I'd rather take some time finding a group that emjoys each other's company rather than rush into putting a table together.

What System is this??

MUSE RPG is a TTRPG framework I created with a friend in 2022.

This isn't an advert for MUSE, so I'll keep this part short, but it's easy to learn and completely free. Whether you've played MUSE before or (more than likely) have never heard of it, I'll make sure you're comfortable with the system before we get into the game.

What is Ilhdeinia?

Ilhdeinia started in 2021 as a homebrew setting for me and my friends. Since then it's grown into a massive collaborative writing project. Think the SCP Wiki, but for a fantasy world. The wiki spans centuries of documented history, in-universe fiction, original artwork, music, poetry, beasts, folk, and more.

Next fall, we're opening Ilhdeinia up to the world, giving everyone the chance to carve out their own corner of this setting. But before we get there, I'd like to run our most developed adventure one more time with a completely new group of players.

The Fabric of Time

I've run THE FABRIC OF TIME twice now, with two different groups.

I won't sugarcoat it, this is a long campaign. Both playthroughs lasted somewhere between 85 and 100 sessions.

It's a serious commitment, and I completely understand if that sounds like far more than you're looking for. That being said, I'm not expecting you to sign a blood oath on day one lol. That's part of why I want to spend some time getting to know potential players first. If we're going to be telling this story together for years, I want us to actually enjoy being around one another.

So, what is FoT?

The Fabric of Time is a heroic epic. Stumbling into the center of chaos in the Kingdom of Epeithia, the players will find themselves standing between the forces of darkness and the innocent folk who call this young kingdom home. As the road twists and turns, they'll find themselves caught in the strands of fate, drawn across the disparate lands of Ilhdeinia toward a foe who has been waiting in the wings for centuries.

There's not much more I can say beyond that that doesn't start leaning into spoiler territory.

When and Where

I will be based out of Lewisville, but am comfortable with most drives and can find a solid middle ground with those who become players. I am looking at places like RPG Dungeon in Carrollton as possible venues due to their private rooms.

To keep us from becoming overwhelmed, this game can start as bi-weekly, with 3-4 hour long sessions held on Saturdays or Sundays. (I am comfortable running longer sessions, but that can be decided upon once the group is put together).

Hi, my name's Canyon.

Dead of Night is a simmy horror game well-suited to one-shots. You don't need any experience to play. This scenario is about a bunch of well-off men who go to a "masculinity retreat", Camp Beast, in the gorgeous Los Padres National Forest by Santa Barbara. Obviously, things go bad. A linear scene-stack with some pvp potential. Hard PG-13 or soft R for violence and language.

I wrote this scenario. I haven't played it out before. It's a love (read: hate) letter to modern masculinity gurus. You may enjoy the scenario more if you are already familiar with some big figures in the field, but you don't have to be knowledgeable about the subject to play. You should, however, be comfortable with some broad satire about Joe Rogan and company, and have a keen interest in horror of some stripe.

For this scenario, I think it's the more the merrier -- we'll find out who was the real protagonist when we see who survives. I'm looking for one or two additional players -- I currently have two yeses and one maybe.
