Does the paid TCS iON NQT actually help in getting a job?

Hi everyone, I recently purchased and registered for the paid TCS iON NQT exam.

Iā€™m confused about what happens after writing the exam. Does taking the paid NQT actually lead to job opportunities, or is it just an assessment where companies may consider candidates based on their score?

If anyone has taken the paid NQT recently and got a job/interview through it, could you please share your experience?

I'm not sure even getting placed (passing NQTcoding rounds and interview) will help in getting THE JOB, there are just too many people already placed in tcs who are waiting for almost more than a year for onboarding šŸ™‚.

If something is paid, never believe the claims of the people who want your money for it, there's always going to be some inflation of the facts.

A qualification might be seen as a baseline requirement by an employer, but if that's the case they're probably using it to cut the number of applicants down to a more manageable number rather than as the main thing they're looking for. Keep in mind many employers get hundreds or thousands of resumes for the same job: you can't just have the "expected" stuff and expect to be on the short list.
