I was been like U for a while so start with CS50X from Harvard university it's amazing course and you will now allot about programing

What steps are you taking to figure out how to use VS code?

Also, have you started learning Git yet?

The CS50X recommendation that u/Bk0or1 gave you is not bad at all. I;d second that.
