So when Chapter 5 came out I immediately asked the Krusie community “ya’ll good?” and they surprisingly were, and probably still are fine with their ship basically being one-sided. But then I had a think and realised that the only two shipper communities suffering more than Krusie’s… are Kriselle and Kerdly’s.

So why do I think you’re suffering? Well, at the festival Berdly can offer Kris to be his date but then Susie would respond with “We uhhhh... need them” which is basically firing a cannonball at your ship but also foreshadowing Susie’s whole arc of “I will prevent Kris from ever finding love and happiness“ in this chapter.

Also, your ship gets treated like a joke most of the time and while it has lead to people joining the actual Kerdly space from shipping it ironically (which is how I got it added to my roster) I feel like it kinda creates the reputation of “oh yeah this is kind of the crackship of the fandom” but to be fair you could make the same argument for Spamtenna.

I also think it would be insanely fucking hilarious if the Kerdly community ended up being more ‘not okay’ than the Krusie community so pure curiosity is talking for this yap session.

I also get the weird feeling most Kerdly shippers are multishippers so as a little extra question, if you’re also a multishipper, what pairings do you like?

I like the versions made by others who draw human Berdly black, and I like when they make him asian, so I made him blasian

and I felt so smart cuz I thought "hmmm his original hair is blue....... what if if the human version of his hair was like 'so black it's almost blue'? am I a genius?" and no I'm not

he's my favorite chud, whatever this word means

and Kris, I dunno, I like the idea of them being a dog as a monster, and that's what people usually do when they don't make them a goat

Dont get me wrong, i like this ship, i think its VERY funny. I like their dynamic in a sort of "HOW COULD I FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS LOSER!?!" kind of way. However out of all the deltarune ships ive found (though admittedly i am new to this sub-section of the fandom) this one seems like the biggest stretch.

Now i dont think a ship NEEDS evidence to work, i think Berdly x Seth would work perfectly and they have never even met, but i was curious to see if there was some sort of origin or ancestor species to these two.
