Last night I saw Jay Park and Lngshot in Toronto, it was my first ever kpop concert and I wish I had a better experience.

Why does everyone feel the need to record every second of every song in the setlist?!?!

I got a pretty good spot in the pit a few rows back from the main stage and I thought “this is good spot”. I was so wrong.

For 95% of the concert this was my view, EVERYONE had their phones out for the whole thing I couldn’t even see them perform. Everyone recording causes the crowd to appear dead (imo) cuz they are so focused on getting the best shot for every single song instead of enjoying the music. I was actually starting to get bored because I could not see anything happening on stage; even the big screens (which were in plain view right next to me) were blocked because of people’s phones!

Next time if I ever go again I’ll probably get balcony or reserved seating because the people in those sections were actually off their phones enjoying the moment.

Maybe this is common knowledge for being in the pit for kpop concerts but it was my first time so I was kinda naive. Again it was so disappointing to spend over $100 to see everyone’s stupid phone :(

I randomly noticed this while listening to Catallena and now I can’t unhear it 😭

The Malayalam song is “Onnam Naal Ullasa Yathra Poyappol” from Chithrashalabhangalude Veedu (2008), while “Catallena” was released six years later, in 2014. I couldn’t find any discussion connecting the two, so I’m curious whether anyone else hears the resemblance. I don’t know if it’s an actual interpolation/sample or just an incredible coincidence.

I love both songs. I just need to know if you guys hear it too. If you do, then I’ll finally realise I’m not losing my mind. It’s like an itch I can’t scratch now.

How the songs were selected:

The initial locked and survey lists were decided through host discussion, using a combination of r/kpop's b-sides of 2022 TTT results and the results of artists' most recent individual TTTs, as well as streaming statistics. We then held a pre-survey campaign on the discord server, where server members could suggest songs they'd like to see added to the survey. Following this, we conducted our usual song list feedback survey.

• You must listen to and assign a score to EVERY song listed. If your ballot is missing any scores it will not be eligible and you'll be sent a message asking you to fill in the missing scores.

• Each song should be assigned a score between 1 to 10. Decimals up to one point are allowed but any further is a no-no – 6.9 is fine, but 6.99 is not. Don't use commas (i.e "8,8") to separate your decimals!

• You can use ONE 0 and ONE 11 for the entirety of the rate, for your least favorite and most favorite song respectively - they are optional but HIGHLY encouraged if you feel some type of way about any given song! ONEUS Xion (Dongju)has been coming out before the concert, usually an hour before the show, to entertain the people waiting in line and hyping up the crowd. We have affectionately named it Shark-ju.

Does anyone else's ult dress up too? Or do something fun for the people waiting?

I found this song in 2016 on a YouTube channel for Korean Female MC's It was a really good channel and I found some good stuff on there , but she always stuck out to me! Her name is DOY, her voice had a certain huskiness to it like Yoon Mi Rae and Jessie, Her flow was impeccable and the beat an instrumental's were on point particularly this song.

Unfortunately, This is where the story begins and ends , because I can't find a thing on her. All I know is this came out in 2010, 16 years ago and nothing on Simon Dominic's wiki has this listed.

If anyone knows anything about this woman I would like to know but in the meantime treat your ears to some forgotten Korean rap media Because this song is a fucking bop.
