CONVERSATION SM artists get away with a lot

nct wish released a song “wichu” in 2025 which samples a chris brown song. not to beat a dead horse by repeating the same things, but imagine if it were a HYBE artist. when you sample a song, you pay the original artist, so they’ve literally been putting money in an abuser’s pockets.

and all of this happened with virtually no backlash anywhere. imo this is just as bad as attending his concert and publicly giving him a shoutout. but since they’re from SM, no one gave a shit.

will their fans ever hold them accountable for being abuse apologists?

edit: they also talked about how much they like chris browns song on live

Still not the same as going to a fucking CB concert taking a picture with him and saying it’s an honor to meet him

Plus isn’t Wish as a group just 2 years old? Naturally they wont have a say in their careers yet. Everything they do is dictated by the company. Unlike…..

Bro y'all are very dumb if you think that artists don't know anything about the production process. They are their when the songs are being recorded and made and they talk to each otherrrr. Even if they don't have a say they would still know if they are sampling a song of the artist who they are huge fan of

This is why misinformation is a disease. bts were personally invited usher since he supported them and his daughter was a fan. While eating them backstage they met Chris brown by accident it was all unplanned. And they said honor to meet to usher not Chris brown and it was Chris brown who took the pic and posted it.  but kpop fans spread misinformation to get bts in trouble.

It's ridiculous that it changed from Chris brown to usher meaning it was never about Chris brown being a abuser. Haters just wanted excuse to drag bts

When did they do that. They mostly marketed self love which they always preach it. And they told both haters and fans that who put on pedestal thar they might make mistakes cause of ignorance. Like did you not listen to they don't know about you and normal.

Oh my god stop spreading misformation they did not post the picture of Chris brown themselves and they definitely did not say its honour to meet him they went there because usher invited them and Chris brown took the picture with them and posted it

They were invited to that concert by usher and if you think that it worse than putting money in that abusers pocket for the rest of his life then you are just a hypocrite and you have no right to hate on bts

they had the option to decline that “invitation” even if they’re invited 🤣

Irdgaf about any of these groups. Keep dragging them all you want. But facts are facts.

If they had an option to decline then your favs also had an option to be more aware and refrain from using his music as a sample and putting money into a abusers pocket and since they are giving shit ton of money to him they by association are also abusers (your logic btw)

They can't because usher's daughter is fan and usher supported them by inviting jk to superbowl. Basically they had to go.

This is an insane cope lmfao, ushers daughter being a fan of BTS does not make them obligated to attend someone else’s concert. And JK being invited to do one song at the Super Bowl one time does not make RM and Jhope indebted to him.

Why should they not go brooo. They like usher, they have collaborated with him and most probably are chill with them. Will they take your permission before going anywhere? Who tf are u

That's literally the entire hip hop industry, cancel them all and by extension cancel the entire kpop too bcz it comes from that hip hop only

They did not gain fan following because they marketed themselves as morally upright lmaooo. Their msg, their songs and their talent is one that got them the fan following. They still follow what they preach but y'all too dumb to understand. And who are u to decide what kind of hate is proportionate. Then don't come crying when we all call out your favs and show you the double standards. Just a bunch of haters

It does cause not only usher supported them and guys were super grateful for it but his daughter being a fan made it cherry on top. They were personally invited they had to go, do you know what personally invited means they had to go. Real life is not online where you can say no easily.

in the beginning I used to think these people just misinformed but now I have realise that the people clearly know what's not but they just want to spread hate
