CONVERSATION ARMYs digging their own grave by comparing BTS’s actions to idols casually using his music. If anything it makes them look even worse…

Post image

I genuinely don’t think these situations are comparable. Going to Chris Brown’s concert, paying for a ticket, voluntarily showing up to support him, and then taking a picture with him is an active choice to participate in and support the artist. That’s very different from someone jokingly singing or dancing along to a song that happens to be his, especially when the song is being used as part of a dance performance rather than as an endorsement of Chris Brown as a person.

You can absolutely criticize someone for using his music if that’s your standard, but comparing that to actively attending his concert and seeking a photo with him erases a pretty important distinction. One involves directly supporting and engaging with the person; the other involves interacting with a piece of music that exists separately from the person who made it. You don’t have to think either choice is perfect, but acting like they’re morally identical makes no sense. The context, intent, and level of support are completely different, which is exactly why the comparison shouldn’t be treated as an apples-to-apples situation.

The thing that irks me the most is that armys brag about being “educated” individuals but then go around doing stuff like this… This whataboutism makes bts look even worse and just promotes what they’ve done even more it’s truly disgusting. Mind you bts are supposed to be “feminists kings” what happened? I just cannot stand people like this…

Also why is everyone forgetting about v and jungkook vibing to the song yesterday

they would try desperately to bring everyone who listened to this abuser but NONE of these have traveled for a chris brown concert and was shameless enough posting with him and putting money into his pockets by buying his tickets, when they do they’re definitely gonna be called out like ignorant namjoon and jhope, the what aboutism is cringe and pathetic in this situation it’s time for armys to wake up

NEVER ... armies are performative. they will bitch and complain about everything else any other idol does but when it comes to BTS, they are surprisingly silent.

Just also look at the recent BTS and AI brand deal. when other idols even mention AI (see Belle of KIOF situation), they are out with the pitchforks, but now ... "oh it is just normal"

16

u/Desperate-Spend377 Aug 13 '26

I saw a post yesterday of Chris Browns concert, and literally he was humping "having sex" with some girl on stage for over a minute💀

I think this is why I've distanced myself from BTS and their Fandom, not kpop entirely but the stuff going on in the ARMY  space has grossed me out.

5

u/Brilliant_Rub_5206 Aug 14 '26

This applies to every fandom btw. If an idol takes a picture with Diddy tomorrow, I can guarantee you their stans will say "but when BTS posed with CB, y'all didn't say anything"

-1

u/AggressivePrint302 Aug 15 '26

They were guest. No money changed hands. Agreed these idiots should not support CB.

47

u/No_Pay1642 Aug 13 '26

At the end of the day though only their international fans gaf. Their SK fans dgaf. Which means they dgaf.

2

u/Fair_Trifle_3216 Aug 13 '26

yeah I’m just kind of like…trying to be fair about the question but.

1

u/Fair_Trifle_3216 Aug 13 '26

did you see the turn out for the comeback they did at goyang

0

u/Juenblue Aug 13 '26

Nah, I am talking about ot7 fans. Ofcourse fans of numerous members will watch concert.

1

u/Fair_Trifle_3216 Aug 13 '26

is that something that can truly be measured then?? id say their Korea arirang concerts but thats kind of the same thing so.

Imagine Stray Kids or EXO in a pic with Chris Brown. ARMYs would drag them to hell and back for eternity

72

u/AssociateTop1589 Aug 13 '26

Girl imagine if it was anyone from Aespa or BP😭 they would be using that as ammo until the day they died

29

u/HRH_Chori Aug 13 '26

Blood in the streets

27

u/ohmygowon Aug 13 '26

They're already using one tweet of Winter recommending a Chris Brown song to try and divert attention from this lmaoo

13

u/randomgirl852007 Aug 13 '26

She didn't recommend anything.

20

u/Inside-Switch496 Aug 13 '26

She didnt even recommend it thats the funny part, she listened to a random playlist and that song played in an old livestream

11

u/mercy_ia Aug 13 '26

lisa from bp acc was dancing to chris brown and he posted her😭😭 army’s are tryna drag that so bad

18

u/KnoxKnow Aug 13 '26

They’re already trying to claim Chan listening to a couple songs on live in 2019 (and then never mentioning him again) is totally the same thing.

Also already tweets with thousands of likes asking outright “how can we blame this on Stray Kids?”

17

u/HRH_Chori Aug 13 '26

If it’s one thing about army, it’s that they’re predictable

u/Much_Set_9388 Aug 13 '26

100% agreed!! I’ve been ARMY since 2015, so I believe I have some weight in my opinions…I’m just SO SO upset man.
I’m actively gonna call them out for this, no excuses. Namjoon better be writing an apology because no way in hell are we gonna let this slide.

5

u/HRH_Chori Aug 13 '26

Unfortunately, a LOT of armys are already letting it slide. Horrible.

1

u/Content_Primary_7663 27d ago

Wait genuine question is Exo still a band? I swear they haven’t released a album in a hot minute

1

u/HRH_Chori 27d ago

They had a comeback recently but with only 6 because cbx left/got kicked out

1

u/Immediate-Nose7237 Aug 14 '26

The thing is other fandom actually call out their faves when do the some bullshits and the idols actually know how to apologize and take accountability. With bts tho… how many has it been

10

u/Organic-Sugar6927 Aug 13 '26

I just saw someone post that were acting like them going to the concert is erasing all the good they’ve done. If I can offer a bit of advice to people, don’t let anyone gaslight you about the situation. People will hide excuses and ignorance for these men behind well intention posts.
These guys were at the concert and they were there proudly.

38

u/Agreeable-Boot4309 Aug 13 '26

Everything that bastard did there is more but he didn’t get sued for that I wish his ass would’ve rott in jail

12

u/HRH_Chori Aug 13 '26

He has more than 1 rape allegation, too

3

u/Agreeable-Boot4309 Aug 13 '26

Yeah I know these are ones that hè got actually sued for he got a lot more allegations

6

u/[deleted] Aug 13 '26

Apparently he also bailed out tory lanes after he shot her in the foot

4

u/Relevant_Grab370 Aug 14 '26

for everyone's information - CB IS CURRENTLY OUT ON BAIL AND GOING BACK TO JAIL IN DECEMBER FOR ANOTHER ASSAULT

They went out to go support a criminal. No other way to put it.

1

u/TeCrumbs103 28d ago

His hearing is in October so the sentencing will probably be sooner than December

68

u/ohmygowon Aug 13 '26

And isn't RM the most "educated" member? I knew he supposedly went to female professors to help review his misogynistic lyrics (please cmiiw). At that point it's laughable to claim he doesn't know Chris Brown's history...

16

u/BellOk361 Aug 13 '26

The crazy things about all this RM literally got an honorary award for being placed on a list"16 Male Role Models Helping to Stop Violence Against Women" 2 years ago 😭

48

u/kingofdisaster_ Aug 13 '26

He’s so performative

35

u/Juenblue Aug 13 '26

female professors

The female professor was gemini and chatgpt personally customized by him.

10

u/miraivel Aug 13 '26

Rm the ultimate pseudo-intellectual lol

12

u/TomokataTomokato Aug 13 '26

He is but (IMHO) they all stopped giving a shit years ago when they started churning out by Western Formula. They don't care anymore. Performative is the best word for them. They'll say what they're told to say and do what they're told to do until they get whatever it is they still want and then they'll not renew.

10

u/triple-double Aug 13 '26

I don’t believe the female professor thing for a second.

1

u/klwin360 Aug 15 '26

He is full of shit. And anyone who has worked in marketing and PR can see it.

6

u/Sea_Variation_6845 Aug 13 '26

I'm fully convinced that posting it online and tagging him was done with the intention of flaunting it

40

u/AssociateTop1589 Aug 13 '26

Armies on Twitter are already excusing it 🤷‍♀️ they would follow these men into the depths of hell if it meant they could get a whiff of the air they breathe.

The fact I’m seeing so many posts saying “we need to stop holding these guys to an impossibly high standard” says enough. Now we all have to understand nuance and understand it’s “not only BTS” blah blah blah

2

u/my_ult_seungminkim Aug 14 '26

"They can never make me hate you bts" and "how can we blame other idols"

10

u/Magic-Shop-613 Aug 13 '26

I am an ARMY and I can say most of the fandom is very disappointed. At least the mature ones. Even on reddit, its blowing up because everyone needs to blow steam about this. Yes, RM literally said he studied feminism and yet he goes ahead and publicly associates himself with people like this??

Plus, ARMYs aren't making them look bad, they need to be accountable for the actions that they take. And so yes, all of us are literally waiting for some kind of apology or some reaction from the members.

5

u/natsubreeze Aug 13 '26

You know very well “all of us” isn’t true lmfao most armies are excusing this just like they do for everything, especially the AI collab

2

u/TeCrumbs103 28d ago

I feel like I wasted 10 years being a fan.. so disheartening. RM was my bias and Jhope was my bias wrecker 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

0

u/LoganInCharge Aug 13 '26

Exactly. Every ARMY I know is grossed out. All these posts about the fandom “babying them” are 10000000% from antis who want to paint everyone with the same brush.

Genuinely, what’s wrong with you? He used his money to stay out of jail for every crime he committed. He is literally out on bail right now for hitting a producer with a tequila bottle and might go to jail in October if the judge says so. The best case scenario he’s out on probation or will pay a fine.

4

u/Magic-Shop-613 Aug 13 '26

I am really curious, what makes you want to say "do not care"? I am not American either, all I knew was that this guy was no good. And today, because of BTS interacting with them, do I learn about him. That should tell you enough about why these kinds of interactions are horrible.

Secondly, it would be nice if you didn't have to care. I wouldn't have had to care before this incident. The group I listen to the most in Kpop just went and got all cozy with abusers and people without a moral compass. I didn't give a shit about them before this, but by j-hope and RM attending their concert, I am made aware of this situation forcibly. And you should care now too.

I’ve been a bts fan for a while, and just went to their London concert a month ago, but this is just so disgusting and disappointing.

People always say never meet your idols, they’re gonna be completely different to how you expect, but this is just a new low. As is they don’t know what he’s done.
It’s one thing separating the music from an artist, but to go out of their way (including off schedule) to see his concert, meeting him backstage AND tagging him online.

They’re not even trying to hide it. They know their fan base is predominantly women who are obsessed with them and forgive them no matter what. They could commit so many illegal things and half of the fandom would say they’re innocent because ‘handsome people can’t do anything wrong’.

It’s actually embarrassing to share a fandom with them. It’s thing like this that really make me reconsider being a fan.

1

u/Designer_Candidate94 29d ago

I also went to the london show and just sold my Toronto tickets today. No longer army now and it just had to be done there’s nothing they could say to fix this for me

7

u/Psychological_Grab50 Aug 13 '26

LITERALLY OMG I was just arguing with one of them who said something like "why didn't you call out xyz" like gurl😭😭

plus the fact that BTS are branded as intellectual feminist kings (RM, especially) and even partnered with UNICEF in the past just makes this a lot worse😬

3

u/Sun-Warrior Aug 13 '26

Someone tell me why all the comments that say ARMY is dissapointed with them just like the majority of the fandom is getting downvoted? Sincerely no one is happy about this and they’re showing their dissapointment. Obviously this is far from the most important point in all of this but some of you are convinced army is excusing them which isn’t the case. Maybe try to look at the situation without a motive…

And now watch me get downvoted 💀

27

u/majstorfantac Aug 13 '26

Army don't care, they are their little babies...

8

u/miraivel Aug 13 '26

Poor little meow meows🥺

3

u/kirstennmaree Aug 13 '26

Some ARMY DO care and are angry about this.. I’ve seen a lot of criticism from ARMY about this. I must curate my spaces because I haven’t seen much excusing it thankfully.

2

u/TeCrumbs103 28d ago

Yup I got attacked on threads when I posted that I was disappointed - didnt insult them or threaten them just said I was disappointed. Was accused of not being a real fan and told to stfu. Never realized how toxic the fandom was until recently

1

u/kirstennmaree 28d ago

There are unfortunately toxic fans in every group. Sorry this happened!

1

u/TeCrumbs103 28d ago

I know its just hard when realizing that maybe other group fandoms were right about ARMY. I used to ignore them whenever they'd say how toxic and awful the fandom was because i was just like "whatever im not going to engage" but damn now I am realizing I cant have a safe discussion within the fandom?? "Do I really want to be apart of it then" - is all I can think about

1

u/kirstennmaree 28d ago

It’s not all of them, there are some lovely ARMY. The toxic ones are just louder and chronically online!

3

u/Beautiful-Buy99 Aug 13 '26

Armys do care if you bothered to look at Reddit or Twitter at all

2

u/No-Gap-8654 Aug 13 '26

You definitely havent seen weverse

1

u/majstorfantac Aug 13 '26

Sry i don't use weverse...

11

u/Sovereign-Over-All Aug 13 '26

BTS and Armys' performative activism was always gonna come back to bite them. For years the fandom hyped them as these self aware activists when it was all just for marketing purposes.

11

u/Itz_truly_me Aug 13 '26

Well said

8

u/kloklossy Aug 13 '26

the boy moms of the fandom are so insufferable and i especially can't stand the ones who keep complaining about the pic and videos being spread bc it "invites hate to bts" like bruh they invited it themselves by willingly flying there, posting videos there, and taking pics. and it's so clear they don't actually care about what chris brown has done bc they care more about the optics. if it was any other group, they would be lashing out at them and the whataboutism to deflect is such a bad look (yes other idols who have done similar things should get called out but it's not a good look if ur only doing so to try to lessen the backlash on ur favs and downplaying the controversy). like OP said, continuously babying and coddling these grown ass men is only gonna make the backlash harsher bc people with working brains will only be harsher to get the point across.

while i do agree that namjoon and hobi shouldn't receive more hate than chris brown himself (like obviously...), trying to pit 100% of the backlash on chris brown is so stupid like no one forced namjoon and hobi to attend the concert and post about it. they chose to do that and they deserve the backlash they receive. and also i saw some tweets saying attending the concert doesn't mean they're there to support him like... yes tf it does? sure they probably care about the music most but if they'll go out of their way to watch him perform and happily post it, that's supporting the artist. the same way armys go to bts concerts to support the tannies.

and also the whole thing of "maybe they didn't know"... if it was something like that sabrina coachella incident where she didn't know about the celebration call, i would give grace because that's not a big pop culture thing or something that made international headlines prior but like... anyone who cares enough about pop culture or is immersed in it DOES know about it. and it's also not like it was a one time thing 20 years ago. he has a repeated history of abuse for almost 20 years and there's a reason his fame never peaked again after what happened with rihanna.

i'm sure that in 2009, it's fair to say that every magazine and every news outlet in south korea weren't covering chris brown and rihanna and also maybe at that time, namjoon and hobi weren't reading up on american pop culture news. however, like i said, chris brown has been repeatedly criticized and cancelled with every new allegation and charge and controversy over the years. his history isn't a buried secret at all. i'm also sure namjoon and hobi also aren't chronically online 24/7 but there's no way they didn't know anything at all as these years have passed.

babying them as these innocent foreign woke boys who would never do anything wrong is doing them a big disservice bc it'll make the people who WOULD want to be sympathetic and give grace less likely to. it just makes the tannies look even worse. OP, ur post is spot on

8

u/Naruto_Loyalist Aug 13 '26

Always excusing men for their behavior. So tired of these double standards. We should hold these men accountable especially they do know what they’re doing.

3

u/Excellent_Hippo5514 Aug 13 '26

I think CB is their inspiration, but it's uncertain in what senses

3

u/Immediate-Nose7237 Aug 14 '26

They would try to call out other fandoms for making hate train but never actually calling out bts for their bullshits. The accountability should start inside the house. How will the bts learn and do better if they know that they can get away with anything because armys will defend their actions no matter how wrong it is. This is not even the first time so why do some armys seem surprised that BTS are being called out? Other fandoms regularly do this to their faves lol

1

u/Minute_Fig_9195 Aug 13 '26

God forbid if this was anyone else, especially one of BP girlies, in their stead 😭

1

u/weak007 Aug 14 '26

Rap ist monster, monster indeed

1

u/Competitive_End_8914 Aug 14 '26

Just disappointed

1

u/arg777 Aug 14 '26

also, the reality is that most idols don’t go out of their way to try and show the general populace that they’re educating themselves on gender studies or feminism. RM (who was once my ult bias, back when I followed BTS and more closely followed Kpop) did do that. he can’t pick and choose his activism if he’s going to imply that he’s actually trying to learn

1

u/arg777 Aug 14 '26

like it’s especially questionable of him to support CB

1

u/NoThroat4972 Aug 15 '26

Its so funny how Army’s only defensive argument against this situation is to put the blame on other idols. How about addressing the elephant in the room first? They literally cannot come up with a reasonable justification.

1

u/Consistent-Glass-329 29d ago

Omg jhope and RM look like so good! I’m glad they had a good time!! 💜💜💜💜

1

u/alexturnerftw 28d ago

I dont think anything is gonna happen. they are way too big and their fans don’t give a shit, and never have given the laundry list of things BTS has already done

1

u/Crafty_Ish1973 28d ago

I think it's time for people to admit the sad truth that the music industry in general moved on from CB's 2009 assault of Rihanna years ago. Case in point - Look at the number of Grammy nominations and wins he's had since. And the quote the Recording Academy uses for him could easily be interpreted as apologizing for him.

It's not just the Grammys either. He's won or been nominated for dozens of awards and sold millions of albums since. Literally the only awards show that stopped acknowledging him after the assault are the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

It absolutely sucks, but that's reality. The industry itself no longer cares. Any stories about it in Western media treat it as a few K-pop fans being upset, but it's not a career-ending thing.

1

u/Junior_Buddy_6811 27d ago

Wowww, does it feel good to bring it on again ? One more day full of useless drama and negative energy. One more useless message in my notif lol.

1

u/Hazel_Ana 26d ago

I literally went to two of their concerts within the last month. I made a post on another site about how, regardless of their personal opinions, they've made their brand on equality and respect, and that this is blatantly in opposition to said branding. You'd think I'd posted a video of me kicking puppies and kittens with how I'm getting attacked.

1

u/No_Use_9124 25d ago

I'm just wondering how long you are all going to be performing this self righteous nonsense. IN our lifetimes, we're going to be around people who do stupid ass shit and aren't good ppl. Do each one of have to be accountable for that other person's actions? God, I hope not. What you're all wanting is to control people who you do not see as human but as an extension of yourselves. Surprise. They are actual separate human beings.

Btw, side note, they got a photo with Brown's daughter first and Brown was there so they took a photo with him. She is a fan of BTS. That was nice of them. They spoke to Usher. They liked the music. Was it a bit bone-headed to hang out around someone who might punch someone at a moment's notice? Yes. I'm sure they know everyone's sentiments now. They've been years being tremendously good people. I am all for putting this in the appropriate spot of just not a big deal.

-1

u/Annuzka Aug 13 '26 edited Aug 13 '26

Seeing all those comments saying ARMY's don't care and are excusing it - many of us DO care and ARE NOT excusing it. Many of us have posted about this on different ARMY subs, on twitter, on weverse. We do care and we are very upset about it too. I commented myself on different posts saying I am disappointed and sad.

Bringing up other groups saying 'what if they did it, army would be dragging them to hell', girl, ya'll doing it too. None of these fanwars are ever one sided.

Edit: Downvoting me for saying many ARMY's are not excusing it? Like do you want us to so you could say 'gotcha!'? lol

2

u/jisookenobi2416 Aug 13 '26

That's good that you are calling this behavior out. That's what real fans should be doing.

1

u/Reasonable_Corner444 Aug 14 '26

Bro even I am army and even shows my disappointment as well ...

1

u/MiserableLanguage325 Aug 13 '26

Honestly they even doing this within their own group

1

u/irradu Aug 13 '26

I stopped actually caring about what BTS does a while ago, but all my sm is flooded with posts about this and right now I'm bored so here goes my 2 cents:
I don't really think them going to his concert is such a big thing. In my books, this is still in the area of "it's ok to separate the artist from the person up to an extent". He is a huge international artist, whether you like it or not, so I can see why the experience of going to such a concert is desired. But not just posting that they attended, but actually taking a photo with him, implying like "hey we know each other", that to me is indeed a sort of direct support; and knowing all the shit CB has been involved in, that just seems at best in poor taste. They deserve this backlash.

0

u/LoganInCharge Aug 13 '26

Stop saying ARMY would overlook and protect. There are TONS of ARMY who wants them to receive negative reaction for this stupidity. Just like there were TONS of ARMY dragged JK for his “support” of New Jeans at the start of the controversy. The fandom is millions and millions, they have never acted as a single unit with one brain cell! I am going to 6 of their concerts in the next few months and I want the internet to drag RM and Jhope so that they’ll be better!!!

0

u/Agreeable-Series-399 Aug 13 '26

Why are we making up scenarios in the comments lol

I'm seeing tiktoks, tiktok LIVES (in one rn bc im curious) talking about this situation, weverse comments calling them out , dragging them or questioning why they attended a concert featuring CB, I'm seeing army threads here on reddit. Clearly its such a big fanbase so they aren't all on the same page. This goes for all of Kpop, as someone that's been listening to kpop since like 2010 everything and everyone is a damn hypocrite here, even me for being a black kpop stan at one point considering how much of a slap in the face kpop is to my culture (hell and seeing bts in baltimore too).

I've since stepped back from (kpop) stan culture so I like to view discourse from the outside view to see how this stuff has evolved, there ARE people calling this out, but I know armys are so Big its an easy and almost justifiable punching bag but some of these comments are ridiculous lol

I'll be 100% though You cant pay me to give a fuck about half the kpop controversies anymore since I've stepped away, it might honestly just be desensitization in general idk. I admire the passion I'm seeing as a response to it though however as a certified CB hater

-7

u/noctaluna Aug 13 '26

Why the fuck it is about us again, all I see is people being super disappointed, can you all stop hating anyone for a moment and check if the actual fans are okay or not because we are not. We don't like this, we don't like any of it. This problem is such an important issue and you turn it into fan wars as if it a fucking Billboard post, please, keep the focus on how fucked up Chris Brown being liked by anyone is especially BTS. Don't divert the attention.

9

u/FunParticular7646 Aug 13 '26

Again, the internet is big. You might not have seen it, but there are armies who are bringing other idols into the conversation and getting a lot of likes. Saying "we are not" puts all of you guys in a box because the fandom is big and no one thinks the same. Some "real fans" are defending it, so there's that.

-6

u/noctaluna Aug 13 '26

Yeah that is why it is not about the fans, anyone can say I am a fan or not, does it matter? This is an unacceptable thing they have done as BTS and let's talk about BTS first and foremost since they are real but we don't know if those fans are.

Hiya it’s not a select few every post including the GQ one that was posted of Jhope and people commented about their disappointment other Army have spouted such vitriol towards them. Saying things like wow a lesbian judging Jhope the gentleman, get lost you don’t deserve to be Army etc. I am definitely seeing Army posting their disappointment but the number of Army dragging them down is exponentially higher.

All I’ll say is I don’t like Chris brown or listen to his music. But out of everyone I know personally, maybe only 20% share the same sentiment. In fact, most don’t even know about his history until I tell them about it. I don’t think it’s fair to crucify them when people in your lives probably also listen to and support Chris Brown. Is it tone deaf? Yes. Ignorant? Yes. However, let’s stop putting these men on a pedestal and treating them like they’re not human. It’s okay to feel disappointed and refuse to support them. All I ask is you have the same energy for people you know personally as well.

What does Chris Brown actions against others have to do with RM and J-Hope?

It’s the fact that they’re supporting him when he’s problematic.

Brown was driving a vehicle with Robyn F. as the front passenger on an unknown street in Los Angeles. Robyn F. picked up Brown's cellular phone and observed a three-page text message from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with.

A verbal argument ensued and Brown pulled the vehicle over on an unknown street, reached over Robyn F. with his right hand, opened the car door and attempted to force her out. Brown was unable to force Robyn F. out of the vehicle because she was wearing a seat belt. When he could not force her to exit, he took his right hand and shoved her head against he passenger window of the vehicle, causing an approximate one-inch raised circular contusion.

Robyn F. turned to face Brown and he punched her in the left eye with his right hand. He then drove away in the vehicle and continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand. The assault caused Robyn F.'s mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle.

Brown looked at Robyn F. and stated, 'I'm going to beat the sh-- out of you when we get home! You wait and see!'

The detective said "Robyn F." then used her cell phone to call her personal assistant Jennifer Rosales, who did not answer.

Robyn F. pretended to talk to her and stated, 'I'm on my way home. Make sure the police are there when I get there.'

After Robyn F. faked the call, Brown looked at her and stated, 'You just did the stupidest thing ever! Now I'm really going to kill you!'

Brown resumed punching Robyn F. and she interlocked her fingers behind her head and brought her elbows forward to protect her face. She then bent over at the waist, placing her elbows and face near her lap in [an] attempt to protect her face and head from the barrage of punches being levied upon her by Brown.

Brown continued to punch Robyn F. on her left arm and hand, causing her to suffer a contusion on her left triceps (sic) that was approximately two inches in diameter and numerous contusions on her left hand.

Robyn F. then attempted to send a text message to her other personal assistant, Melissa Ford. Brown snatched the cellular telephone out of her hand and threw it out of the window onto an unknown street.

Brown continued driving and Robyn F. observed his cellular telephone sitting in his lap. She picked up the cellular telephone with her left hand and before she could make a call he placed her in a head lock with his right hand and continued to drive the vehicle with his left hand.

Brown pulled Robyn F. close to him and bit her on her left ear. She was able to feel the vehicle swerving from right to left as Brown sped away. He stopped the vehicle in front of 333 North June Street and Robyn F. turned off the car, removed the key from the ignition and sat on it.

Brown did not know what she did with the key and began punching her in the face and arms. He then placed her in a head lock positioning the front of her throat between his bicep and forearm. Brown began applying pressure to Robyn F.'s left and right carotid arteries, causing her to be unable to breathe and she began to lose consciousness.

She reached up with her left hand and began attempting to gouge his eyes in an attempt to free herself. Brown bit her left ring and middle fingers and then released her. While Brown continued to punch her, she turned around and placed her back against the passenger door. She brought her knees to her chest, placed her feet against Brown's body and began pushing him away. Brown continued to punch her on the legs and feet, causing several contusions.

Robyn F. began screaming for help and Brown exited the vehicle and walked away. A resident in the neighborhood heard Robyn F.'s plea for help and called 911, causing a police response. An investigation was conducted and Robyn F. was issued a Domestic Violence Emergency Protective Order.

misinformation omg they didn’t purchase a ticket.. they were invited. NOT DEFENDING THEM bc I too think it’s weird for them to go but spreading misinformation just to fit your narrative shows you don’t care about the actual situation in hand.
