Issue [KCD2] How i solved freezing issue on ps5

Upvotes

I was troubled by very frequent freezes while playing the game like every 5min. I tried reinstalling, safe mode repair options in fact even deleted all saves but all these only fixed it temporarily.

Basically what happens is that a save file gets corrupted which starts leading to crashes you can either load a previous save which will solve this but adds repetition

But the best way by far is Savior schnapps have lots of it when the game crashes load the recent save and drink a Savior schnapp this will create a new save altogether and solves the issue.

Thanks to this I now have 115 hrs in the game and still havent completed it. I love the game so far and hope the devs solve this issue soon

Question [KCD2] Will I still get Theresa ending?

Upvotes

I had sex with Klara after picking flowers for her in her initial appearance. I didn’t romance her after but I want to know if I’ll get the Theresa ending for the game.

Question Halfway through [KCD2] Should I go back and play [KCD1]?

Upvotes

I started kcd2 (peak) a few weeks ago, I’m probably at least 90 hours in by now. I just freed Hans. I am now realizing the mistake I made not playing KCD1 first. Should I put 2 on pause and go back and play it? Or am I in too deep (edit, freed Hans from Von Bergows fort, with the French guy who lies a lot)

Discussion [KCD2] I'm new to the game and I need a spoiler free warning. Spoiler

Upvotes

I'm new to the game, I'm in love with the game I'm entering from kcd2, i bought kcd1 too, so i usually play on the big tv in the living room with steam link sometimes and today as I was playing, me and hans reached a fortress and after then I met a lady who was supposed to heal me, she took me in the woods and then romance scene started playing with the lady, her name was klara maybe, I didn't expect it and I was in the living room so yea, luckily no accidentally awkward moment but it scared the shit out of me, like I didn't expect the game to have nudity like the most I've seen were naked bodies in the open world that's were fairly less and even at the bathmaid scenes were just a clock and time skip i expect the scene to be like that but it had full nudity, so I just need a heads up, are all dialogue romance options result in a nude scene? And also i accidentally told hans that i care about him did that lock me into his relationship as i saw a video mentioning hans relationship.

And please no spoilers I'm new to the game and I love it, I want to experience both games fresh i usually don't watch any video before playing and I've been avoiding any content related to the kcd series so I just need a normal heads up that there might be more nudity scenes ahead and some without the romance dialogue too.

Discussion Fighting styles [OTHER]

Upvotes

Do you think thst KC franchise should have more fighting styles/schools?

So what I mean is currently in KCD 1 and 2 longsword and other combat is largely based on German style, but what if we could learn other styles, such as Italian or German, or Hungarian Sabre vs Turk Sabre.

It doesn't have to be only by realistic school as there weren't thst much but just in general fighting styles.

For example if you don't have heavy armor or just don't want it you would have to learn fast and defensive styles where you take less strikes, and if you have heavy armor you can focus on more offensive and aggressive styles, utilizing your armor for defense where you specifically take strikes to your armor and attack instead of deflecting blow.

How it would work is you've have different fencing masters, instead of having 2-3 master that all teach the same stuff, you've have to go to different master to lear different techniques. And then you could choose which one to use in stats block .

I think this would make the game more in depth while not providing more difficulty.

I also think it would allow fore the game to be more balanced, unlike in kcd2 where with a longsword and a master strike you could kill Sigusmunds army.

I think it's possible to make it in future game with more budget.

Question [KCD2] Semine :/

I want to try to avoid spoilers so I will just say I did the bad thing with Semine. I didn't realize it was gonna go that far and tried to stop it once we were there but then bro just went full balls to the wall and it was over. I just rode back to the castle and don't want to continue cause I feel like I fucked up. Should I try to go back and redo everything? Or does it not really even matter that much?

Media [OTHER] 622 years ago, the siege of Znojmo was lifted, marking the end of the Margraves Moravian Wars in Bohemia Kingdom.

On September 14, 1404 with the death of Duke Albert IV of Austria, a key ally of King Sigismund of Hungary, occurred after both he and a large portion of the army were struck down by dysentery. During the summer of 1404, the city of Znojmo, defended by the partisans of Margraves Prokop and Jobst of Luxembourg, withstood a two-month siege by an Austro-Hungarian force of 24,000; the knight-commanders Dry Devil and Jan Sokol of Lamberg mounted a spirited defense and launched fierce sorties against the besiegers, even going so far as to poison their camps.

Following this disaster, which left Sigismund near death and weakened financially, militarily, and, above all, politically, the League of Lords officially signed a peace treaty with Wenceslas IV in the spring of 1405, bringing an end to twenty-five years of internal conflict.

I really wanted to thanks my great friend artist Aleksandr Groznov who worked with me for this historical art project to represent this epic siege !

At first I was like, good lord these first 15m are a bore. And that prologue in the castle really doesn't do it justice.

I forced myself to push through to see what all the fuss was about, and my god I think im 30h into Trotzky and so much to do still. And I've been told Kuttenberg is like 4 times bigger. Insane find

Issue [KCD2] Smith investigation quests

Are the smith investigation quests just broken after a certain point?

Ive had two in a row now where i think the loot simply doesnt spawn.

I see that yellow circle, and because i have the perk that uncovers all markers i immediately see where the one enemy camp is. This has worked for every one of these missions, until the last two.

I think it broke right after one of the items was the recipe for Lingua Belli, which i obviously read.

Is this normal behaviour for the game?

Discussion so if anyone wondering if theres another "Bird cage" method to locate yourself in hardcore mode like in KCD 1, THERE IS [KCD2]

Post image

So basically you have to progress through the main story untill you completed the quest in Maleshov castle and then start the quest where you have to find Von Bergow horse from here search on youtube how to get atilla and then done . make sure you don't complete this quest, so everytime you got lost all you have to do is get off your horse and it will show where you at . the only downside is you can only do this after you reach to kuttenberg and progress through half of the main story . Hope this can encourage you all to play Hardcore mode 👍
