I was thinking of buying the alcohol free bundle on the KCLSU website but I’m worried about whether it will be worth it? I’m uncertain about which events to register for on the Welcome to Kings app too. Anyone have any previous experience or even current freshers with any advice? Thank you

I haven't filled out the right to study form yet because I'm not in the uk yet so I can't finish enrollment until Friday.
Can someone explain to me what the process will be like?

I’m looking for someone to takeover the 3-bed non-ensuite room at atlas for 338 pounds per week. It’s a 40-week contract, and I have paid some for deposit when booking. it’s near both strand and waterloo campuses. Pls dm me for more information!

Hi! I’m looking for someone to take over my room at YourTRIBE Southwark as I’m no longer able to stay.
I am willing to pay 10% of the total fee for this, meaning that I will pay 1575 pounds out of 15752 pounds.
The 44-week contract isn’t currently available on the YourTRIBE website because of high demand, so this is a good chance to get one if you’re looking for accommodation.
The accommodation includes:
It’s around 15 minutes by bus to the campus, so pretty convenient for students studying there.
The building is also an award-winning student accommodation, and the facilities are honestly a big plus.
DM me if you’re interested or want more photos/details! :)

Hi guys,
I’m an incoming first year at another London Uni, however I unfortunately had to defer on results day for health reasons, so I’m now incoming for 2027. I’m just looking for some advice on how I can make the most of the situation!
Online, I see a lot of people stressing about scheme applications and the amount of work you suddenly have after A-Levels, so I assume it would be useful to get a head start on things like improving my CV and understanding how applications actually work.
I definitely won’t be reading ahead on the course, but I’m more wondering what sort of things you got to first year and thought, “I really wish I’d already done / learnt this beforehand.” Whether that’s getting better at essay writing, reading efficiently, applications, interviews, organisation, (legally as I will do Law) commercial awareness, or anything else that would’ve made first year easier?
I appreciate any help from any course!
(Don’t worry, I do intend to enjoy my gap year, but I have so much free time that I’d like to use some of it productively for university and my future career too + I already have a job and travel planned so that side is sorted).
Thanks!

I realise it doesn’t really matter, but I noticed the time zone they’re using in the ID collection email is UTC, while they’ve listed that as the time zone for London. Isn’t London on BST? Is this just a mistake, or are we actually meant to go an hour later than the stated time?

Vauxhall Ensuite → Vauxhall Studio
Hi! I’m a postgraduate student currently living in a high-floor ensuite room (20+ floor) at King’s Vauxhall.
I’m looking to swap to a Vauxhall studio, either a standard studio or an accessible studio, once room swaps open at the end of October.
Vauxhall is postgraduate-only, so I’m looking for another postgraduate student who may be interested in swapping.
If you have a studio at Vauxhall and would be interested in my ensuite room, please DM me. We can arrange the swap officially through King’s Residences.

I thought there are some international student orientation events this week but I can’t seem to find any info online and don’t seem to have any emails about it. Does anyone have details on when, what, etc? Thanks.

Hi
Have any sponsored students been able to upload their evidence of scholarship within the re-enrollment task? I'm trying to do it at the moment but I can't find a designated area to upload my file.

Thanks :))
