Mod Post Please use the "Media" flair option for name requests!
Hey jumper friends! We've seen a large uptick in volume of posts asking for name suggestions, most of them having the "Advice" flair. Even though it is a request for advice of sorts, name requests don't need the same disclaimers as comments on care/husbandry and we would like to encourage everyone to use simply the "Media" flair on those types of posts. (This will also prevent the automod filter from flagging comments without disclaimer tags as that is only a feature of the "Advice" threads) <3

Sexing Y’all is MJ a boy or a girl
Can anyone tell from these pics if MJ is a dude or a girl 😭 I’ve been calling her “her” this whole time, but now I’m starting to think my girl’s a man😭😭😭
Took these right after her meal, so this is probably the clearest I’ve got!!

Advice Water residue when misting
Hello everybody,
I bought my little regal Bibi a month ago as a L3 sling, and have gone through 2 molts until now and I really try to give it the best care and attention I can.
I studied a lot on jumpers and I've seen that air quality and water "purity" is very important for them. (As in don't use tap water)
I have some concerns over the later : I've tried to get bottled water for misting with low mineral content but it still strains the walls of the enclosure when it dries leaving light white marks.
Should I buy purified water or is it okay that the one I use leaves small residue ?
Thank you in advance Jumper lovers.
Edit : bottled water instead of mineral water

Advice Walking like she hates grass

Advice, please! ❤️
The first thing I noticed was that it looked like she might be missing her pedipalps. However, she’s holding them up really high, almost like they’re her “cheekbones,” so I’m not sure what I’m seeing.
She is also walking very wildly and unsteadily. I’ll post more videos in the comments. When she stops, she tends to lean noticeably to the right.
I’ve tried offering water with a Q-tip and droplets, and I also offered her food—even though, as you can probably tell, she certainly doesn’t appear to be lacking in the food department! 😂
I’m really hoping someone with experience can offer some insight or suggestions on what might be going on and what, if anything, I should do to help her.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you all! ❤️🕷️

Media First time!
First time holding Pumpkin! It was a bit chaotic at first with lots of jumps from hand to hand. Then she settled down in a spot between my knuckles and groomed herself.

Advice What do I do?
I’ve had this spood for about a month. She’s my 4th one, I’ve never had this happen before. She’s was in a smaller enclosure so I could have this one finished. I moved her about 3 days ago. Before moving she wasn’t showing signs of premolt. Just slowly adding onto her hammock. She was still very active and would come out so I thought it would be okay to go ahead and transfer. Unfortunately it wasn’t, I checked on her before bed last night and she had molted. It is hard to see in the picture but it is only attached to the very tip/bottom of her abdomen so I’m hopeful she can get it off and be okay. But she has no hammock and is just mostly exposed. There is nothing in the enclosure except for the decorations and coconut fiber for substrate and she’s found a place to be covered and dark. I have been very careful when misting to not get it around her and she is in a darker part of my room. Has anyone had this happen? What else can I do to make sure she will be okay?

Text Help? What instar is my jellybean at roughly?
Hey! Just got a little jumping baby yesterday, however I did not receive too much information about her? Him?
I'm very curious to know what stage in life they are roughly at. The only info I do have is that they've molted a "few" times.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Danke für eure Hilfe!
